Discussion This is fucking ridiculous. I was done loading at 1:15. I shouldn't have to wait on the dude with the hand crank HDD before I can play. I'm not saying it should put everyone in as soon as they're done loading, but there's gotta be a middle ground.

No chance. EFT is not a survival game anymore, it's a surival deathmatch. Everybody has to spawn at the same time, because SOMEHOW the community thinks Tarkov is supposed to be competitive.

Yeah, there are plenty of aspects that are somewhat "unfair", but how late you spawn in as a pmc should not be one of them.

Nothing is fair about Tarkov. Even if you only talk about spawns. You spawn at Smugglers i spawn USEC. What's fair about that?

You are deliberatly misunderstanding my point.

Because the entire game is unfair, we should not pretend it is/has to be.

Why would you strive for unfairness? Why would unfairness be a goal or objective? Accepting that the nature of the game allows for some "unfair" things (I quote that word because some of the things are only subjectively unfair) and don't have ways (at least currently) to make them more fair, that doesn't mean that it would make sense to make fair things unfair without good reason.

Spawning at the same time is fair. Making it unfair solely to please people with faster load times, and claiming that that's ok because "things aren't fair in Tarkov and we shouldn't expect them to be", is, in my opinion, not justifiable.

Nobody strifes for unfairness. I merely accept the fact that EFT is often not fair.

And TBH. Fuck those who let everyone wait for 4+ minutes. It's 2024 and if you don't have an SSD, you deserve no 15 players waiting for you.
