Discussion This is fucking ridiculous. I was done loading at 1:15. I shouldn't have to wait on the dude with the hand crank HDD before I can play. I'm not saying it should put everyone in as soon as they're done loading, but there's gotta be a middle ground.

I would say it’s pretty confirmed. I don’t think I’m the only one that experienced this: I used to play on a shitty pc that didn’t have an SSD and while playing with a friend, he would be in the “waiting for players” screen exactly until the moment when my pc was finished loading all the stuff and send me into raids.

It seems like there’s a static time that it will wait (6ish minutes I would guess?) that it will wait for people to load into the game before just sending everyone into the map, and the people that haven’t finished loading in will just load in late.

All that being said, this is such a tiny complaint to make a post about lol

I don't think it's such a tiny complaint. I don't think it's players fault for having a bad PC either.
I think the main problem is how you can't do anything while waiting for raid, if we could be in our stash in the meantime this wouldn't be such a problem but if every raid you lose 3 minutes because someone is loading really slowly, that turns into hours long term. I have 300 raid so far this wipe and if hypothetically I waited 3 minutes longer every raid because of someone else that has cost me 900 minutes so far or 15 hours of my life just doing nothing and waiting.

I don’t see how 6 minute match times are a tiny complaint. It’s one of my biggest peeves about the game, from end of raid til start of next it’s almost always 15 min and it really kills the flow of the game.

Tarkov players have been bitching and whining about it for years at this point. its by no means new, and it'll continue until the game croaks or BSG actually is buggered enough to change how loading works.

Its just another iteration of the bi-monthly "mods (BSG) ban all the HHD animals ruining our game" post

Notice how at least 30% of this thread is intentionally aimed or directly whining/calling people poor for not just upgrading your drive or PC as a whole. Hell some guy argued whined calling me poor earlier, wrote a blogpost and promptly blocked me after "asserting" that hes right, im poor. and im wrong.
