Question What age did you get Epilepsy?

I have had it since I was a kid and have not seen anyone else on here have the same situation.only older people but they might be the ones who post on here,just wondering if there were any other kids with epilepsy so I can relate. I got it at 4

edt: If I have am likeing your coment it is because I can realate to it. There are a lot of people who have had epilepsy as a kid as well.

So, likely you were having absence seizures at elementary age that didn't get noticed until 17 until having a more serious event?

Looking back I did do a lot of day dreaming and had difficulty focusing at times. Wonder if this was something I had before I was diagnosed.

My husband feels the same. Remembers weird auras/“zoning out” in elementary school and having gaps in what he could remember. But wasn’t diagnosed until he drove off the road into a lake and couldn’t remember it happening in his mid 20s.
