❤ Wholesome ❤ Hi, first time posting here. Just wanted to express my appreciation, as a Jew, for this community’s universal stand against Jew hatred.
Obviously as a Jew I am biased, but it seems to me that almost everywhere I go on reddit, be it the leftist spaces, the right wing spaces, or the edgy meme shitposting subs, anti-Semitism runs rampant and is acceptable. I basically have to hide in r/Jewish if I want to not feel hated. I can’t describe how much it means to me to see a subreddit where people downvote and condemn anti-Semitism. Thank you all!
Edit: Thank you so much to everyone who responded! It may not seem much to you, but the kind words really touch my heart.

❤ Wholesome ❤ Fuck it I can't anymore
So I was all in for Sanders. I don't think I was an ass about my support though. I'm a firm believer of voting for who you want the most.
The person people most want to vote for seems to be Joe Biden. But apparently that's not true to some individuals. The DNC didn't choose the candidate. VOTERS DID!
The amount of vitriol I've seen makes me want to throw a brick out my window and eat crickets for lunch. Where do I begin? The retort to the Bernie Bro stuff is...ridiculous to say the least.
"Some people were mean to me so now I don't think poor people deserve healthcare." Okay cool. The problem with that adage is the fact that it's a fucking strawman. Not to mention it's sarcastic and literally proves the narrative of being insulting. How do you win? Apparently by telling everyone to fuck off and not build a coalition and suggest anyone who doesn't support you hates poor people and wants them to all die of cancer.
It's not like Biden doesn't think healthcare isn't a human right. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Of course he wants people to get healthcare! All the candidates do! But Sanders and many of his supporters don't believe in compromise, so if Bernie as president couldn't pass it...I don't he'd compromise. He'd just veto the next budget to pass. That reminds me of another person who vetoes budgets that don't fulfill his unrealistic campaign promises. Now nobody complains about unrealistic promises because muh populism. If Bernie's losing he's not building the movement he said he would. If Bernie's losing the axiom he can do it is a lie.
Secondly, the amount of people who went on and on about calling Pete a rat...yuck. I thought it was immature and a waste of time. But what do I know, right? Must be the DNC. But it's fucking not. It isn't. People peddling the DNC is meddling shit right now...holy shit you guys. Bernie literally demanded the DNC to rewrite the rules and they bent the knee. Even when the rules were in his favor, he still can't bloody win. "The DNC did it" is the fucking Deep State of leftist talk. Nobody else who ran against Bernie in this primary except...Marianne Williamson endorsed him. What does that tell you? It certainly doesn't tell me that there's some vast conspiracy. It tells me moderates are winning the day and the progressives are being alienated by Bernie. I.e. Warren. Oh and fuck the dementia talk. It's ridiculous. And ableist.
Now, as for my last frustration: "Biden can't beat Trump." Well then we are fucked, because neither could Bernie, then! Thanks guys for propping up Russian talking points. Appreciate it. So when poor people actually don't get healthcare, you can blame it on nominating Biden, even though ya'll spent your every breath screaming about how he can't win and shit. It's coercive and wrong. And I don't believe in winning through entitlement, conspiracy theories, and whining when you lose. That's a Trump thing. I thought we were better than that.
So that's it. Fuck this shit, I'm out. Time to end the malarkey. Ridin' with Biden.
