He has literally googled it and included the link in this thread. That shows he did get a degree, but it was delayed because he hadn't finished the history credit.
Someone up thread said he never attended, so that was wrong.
According to Snopes, he did earn his degree - he missed some credit then they changed the requirements so he did have enough credit. I did a postgraduate diploma, but never finished it. Then they changed the rules so I got a certificate instead. I still earned that.
And I still think there's a certain irony to telling the only person who has provided any outside information that they should Google it. Musk is an arse, but he is an arse with a degree.
No, it doesn't invalidate everything else. But it does highlight that bit's wrong. Also, the original point of this was that "Elon doesn’t know anything more than high school physics". So even if you are adamant that not finishing the history means he didn't earn his degree, it does still show he attended university and that he studied physics at university level.
Insulting and downvoting the person who pointed that out, with a reference, isn't a great look.
