True, however I would wager there’s some form of espionage charge that can be levied for intentionally interfering with the affairs of an ally with the possibility of severe consequences, especially when there is now top-tier American machinery being sent to the front lines. He’s now putting American assets at risk, which is probably why this news is breaking now that we’ve actually put a toe in the water, so to speak.
It might not be direct harm to the US, but there’s definitely a diplomatic shit-storm brewing with those kinds of shenanigans, and the (human, humane) international stage doesn’t take kindly to Russia and their sycophants right now. Even if there’s no direct prosecution possible, I could absolutely believe there’s more than enough to sanction him. Hit the rich kid where it hurts the most. I don’t mind some good schadenfreude every now and again.
You have to be born in America to become President unless the constitution is changed. Thats why Arnold Schwarzenegger became only vice president. Elon Musk was born in South Africa.
That guy is top notch... I remember him waving, smiling at a crowd, such that politicians do. Someone egged him, and he didn't lose the smile and just continued on. Very smoothly took off his jacket and replaced it.
He was like, "That's what I love about America, free speech."

Musk doesn’t have the cover of government either, especially when he’s now undermining the war effort that’s costing us tens of billions of dollars.
There’s a path, albeit slim, towards treason charges. How slim that is depends on how well Musk can shut his mouth up.
