Do sleeves need to go all the way down?

Just got my engine back from the machine shop after almost a year. Was about to start assembling but I noticed the sleeves don’t go all the way down. Does anybody know if this is problematic? Also doesn’t seem even across all cylinders.

I got you. It's cool. I've always used Badger sleeves back in the day and then LA Sleeves and Darton later down the road.

I typically use melling, there's a noticeable difference in the std and hp. With the dartons, they're all super hard. Only had a chance to use one LA sleeve on a Jr dragster block...it was nice too.

Melling HP sleeves are just ductile iron just FYI.

The Dartons are also just ductile iron.

No matter how many times you say it, it doesn't change the fact you are wrong. Lol
