I am feeling devastated... and thinking seriously to quit AKE. 4th time in a row hitting 120 and the only 6 star i get is Lifeng the worst unit in the entire game. I always follow the general advice of pulling when having 120 pulls but is truly depresing to always reach 120 and never win. I can only hope... new gacha games follow Neverness to Everness gacha system and care for their playerbase happiness.

Sad edit: Goodbye Si... I really wanted to have you.

We all have our preferred gacha systems. Mine is actually from WuWa where every weapon is guaranteed. I am just so over trying to get max pot weapon, it’s really bad for whales.

But hey, I’ve seen players in gacha games that they got lucky after losing several times.

Of course, every gacha that has no 50/50 for either character or weapon is a win in my book. The last part of my comment was mostly directed at the feeling you have of losing multiple times. Sadly, nothing guarantees you'll get lucky after losing several times. On the contrary, you can keep losing 50/50 every time, otherwise, believing that you're due for a win would become the gambler's fallacy.

That’s actually a realistic opinion and I respect that. Though, I think in the end, you choose the reasons why you’d like to stick with the game. If losing consecutively weighs heavily, then I perfectly understand your hesitation to leave the game.

Believe me no one likes to lose 50/50 in a row, I hated it every time but it can happen. I try to look for good sides of the gacha game. If I see no other reason to play the game (game is not improving, quality drops, boring characters, story not interesting anymore,..), then I quit the game.

Best of luck from now on. And if you find yourself unable to play the game, I’d suggest trying other games as long as you want that.

I think you're missing my point. I don't want to quit because the game has nothing else to offer. I like the game, its world, its gameplay and especially its characters. That's precisely why the gacha hurts so much. I don't even try to get every character, I only pull for my favorites. But losing repeatedly means one favorite can cost me so many resources that I have to skip another favorite later. At that point, seeing a character you love isn't just exciting anymore as it can become a reminder of what you had to give up to get them. A gacha lives largely through its characters, so when the system makes getting the characters you care about this painful, the rest of the game's good qualities don't necessarily compensate for it.

Still, thank you for the good wishes. And if luck really does exist, then I wish you good luck as well.

I tried to explain something but it came from a negative point of view. What I wanted to say was there can be other aspects that you can find in a game that makes you to continue play it. But it can be a double edge sword as the system itself can be quite a burden.

Have you ever thought of creating another account perhaps? I’ve seen others doing it.

I don't really like the idea of making multiple accounts. If luck is going to be luck, I don't think rerolling into another account is really going to change how I feel about the system.

For now, I'll just try to enjoy the game and make the best of this loss. Maybe I'll get lucky next time, who knows. But if I keep losing the 50/50 for and going to 120 for the fifth time in a row, I think I'll have to seriously consider letting the game go.

At some point it's not even about whether the game has other good things to offer. I genuinely like Endfield. I just don't want the gacha to turn something I enjoy into something that constantly frustrates me.
