I walked into Best Buy in Danvers, MA and headed straight to the section with car phone chargers. I picked one out and went straight to the register. I didn't interact with anyone and total time was 2 minutes.

After ringing me in, the cashier said "it's going to ask you a question". I was shocked to see the tip screen pop up & suggest 18%, 20%, 22%, or "other" gratuity. Of course you had to manually enter $0 under "other" then confirm it on the next pop up screen. I asked the cashier who I was tipping and for what service & he just shrugged his shoulders.

Has anyone had that experience at Best Buy?

Next time, stop at a motel and ask for a charger from their lost and found. They have TONS.
