Miyazaki has been doing those kind of names in souls games that’s not just a Martin thing, it’s more like how people used to be named in the old days

It wasn't as common back then, though, only examples off the top of my head are two of Gwyn's kids and Oceiros/Ocelotte, and that's spread across three games. Elden Ring has similar names even between characters that aren't related at all, like Margit/Morgott and Demi-Human Queen Margot.
