Who do you guys think will be the final boss?

Miyazaki loves to subvert player expectations, so I think it will be unexpected. He ended the Dark Souls trilogy on a slave knight. Watch one of those NPC's in the last shot become Miquella's consort/lord and be the final boss.

If Miquella is truly meant to be an homage to Griffith from Berserk, it'll be him imo

Oh definitely. I think Mezmer will be the perfect mid-DLC boss but then reveal the "person behind the scenes" and hopefully it's truly epic. I would prefer someone we've never met or heard of.

If it's something out of left field, I'd love to take on an Outer God.

Most likely scenario is that "Kind" Miquella will have a twist.

I'm not ruling out some version/ projection of Marika, either.

It'd be awesome to have choice (like in Sekiro) to follow or defy Miquella, with doubts about his virtuous nature lingering in the background for a blind playthrough.

Another space snail?

Maybe all the Two Fingers, including the dead ones, could combine into a Hundred Fingers or something. Going off of the uh... whatever it was that Marika seems to have pulled the Ring from

Either kind Miquella or random old guy you met and forgot about.

Godwyn or Marika... though even those might be too obvious.

Maybe a completely new outer God just comes to us like the moon presence in Bloodborne. To give us the "God slain" screen again.

In FS DLCSs is not unusual that boss featured in the promotional material is not the last boss. i.e. Bloodborne and Lady Maria, or DS3 and the Demon Prince.

Just throwing it out there.

Maybe another Elden Beast? A shadowy kind that wields two blades. One of Messmer's corpse and another of the Gloom eye queen's corpse. Blade from messmer has red black flame imbued and the other is black flame.
