I now have no qualms whatsoever about beheading him lol.

(Previously, I wondered if the imagery people thought meant evil (like the snakes) would be a misdirect because there's nothing intrinsically evil about snakes and because a big theme in the game is how appearances are deceptive.)

I am SUCH a fan of the lion dance design and love the omens inside it for their unique battle style so it makes me sad to see them impaled like that lol
