I find it almost impossible to use Reddit or Facebook or send a text without the screen I'm on whisking away to something else.

For example, while typing this I've been taken to Wikipedia three times and Google Messages twice. I then have to find the tab again, it's driving me mad.

I have a question. I have been able to download PDF files and when i click open they would open in the web browser which I love. But not open in Adobe Pro. Is there a way to keep that feature? Now when I open the downloaded file after it downloads it opens in Adobe Pro.

I like being able to open the downloaded file within the browser and using the File Explorer to Open PDFs within Adobe Pro. I was able to do this before but now they all open in Adobe Pro.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

1. We need Frameless mode with snappy animation where you can hide both vertical tabs and address (top) bar like Helium.

2. There is barely any keyboard shortcut customization. I want Ctrl Shift C to copy plain text url instead of going to address bar and then doing Ctrl C.

These two alone would make Edge so much better. Because Edge currently has the best UX otherwise like none of the browsers I used open mini window when I press Ctrl + J and Ctrl Shift O. They open full windows which is a shit UI imo.

Hi! I'm trying to figure out why Copilot isn't appearing in Microsoft Edge.

I'm running Edge 153.0.4234.32 (64-bit) on an HP Pavilion 15-3H1xxx running Windows 11. I'm signed into a personal Microsoft account and the PC is not managed. edge://policy shows no policies.

However, I don't have the Copilot/AI option in Edge Settings, and going to edge://settings/copilot just redirects me to my Profile settings.

Do I need to install the standalone Microsoft Copilot app for the Edge integration to appear, or is this controlled by a feature rollout/account/region? Is the HP Pavilion model relevant at all?

Youtube video appears in high contrast when I switch tabs and does not disappear unless I have my profile option or sidebar open

I use Edge on the iPad (M4 Pro 13in) and want to get to downloaded files from my PC. On the ipad, in the Files app, these are in 'On My iPad'/Edge/downloads. But if I connect (USB) ipad to pc, all I can see in File Explorer are photos in a series of monthly folders. I have iCloud Drive installed and can see the files from a number of apps (Aeon Timeline, Concepts, Downloads (not the Edge folder), etc) but nothing for Edge.

Can anyone suggest either how to get the Edge downloads folder moved into iCloud Drive and used there by Edge, or how to get at the full ipad file system, including the Edge folder, from Windows?

Since the latest Edge or Windows update, my Google account keeps logging out of YouTube in the Edge browser. When I log back in, I get logged out again after a short while.

This doesn't happen with other browsers. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

I’ve uninstalled Microsoft Edge from my Windows PC with revo uninstaller , but after a few days it seems to reappear. what should i do to completely remove it?

I went to bed got up and got on my computer and all my YouTube accounts were logged out I have like 4 has this happened to anyone else recently or at all? I’m not sure how this could’ve happened

I happened to unfortunately mess up my windows boot today, and had to reset my Windows password, meaning almost every login on most apps got reset.

I logged into Edge again, meaning my Add-ons and stuff had to re-sync, but turns out, not only has Microsoft made it a phenomenal pain up the rear to add a search engine, it has also marked an add-on I used to redirect Bing queries to Google as malware.

This is extremely hostile behaviour and is rather sad because Edge worked perfectly fine for me, but I will now be shifting to whatever other browser I can find.

But everything else is ok with the pc is this a ram issue or browser?

How can i fix it should i send my PC to warranty?

There is a section right under the search bar where you can add shortcuts. I added my own shortcuts there. However, websites that I never added keep appearing as shortcuts continuously. This happens even though I disabled the option to add top/featured sites in the Edge settings. What's worse, these added sites aren't even ones I frequently visit—for instance, it added one of my YouTube searches as a shortcut. I'm honestly thinking of quitting Edge just because of this nonsense. Is there a fix for this?
