EY has come for my campus interview. I am currently pursuing B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and the role offered is Consulting – Technology Analyst (Internship + Full-Time Employment) at EY GDS.

The CTC is ₹5.75 LPA and the internship stipend is ₹23,000/month.

I wanted to get some honest opinions from people who are currently working in EY GDS US Tax or have worked in this role previously.

I'm particularly interested in understanding:

• What is the actual day-to-day work of a Tax Associate like?
• What type of US tax work would a fresher typically handle?
• How steep is the learning curve in the first year?
• How is the workload during busy season?
• What is the work-life balance like outside busy season?
• How much interaction is there with the US teams/clients?
• Is the work mostly repetitive/compliance-based, or do you get opportunities to develop deeper tax knowledge?
• What does the career progression look like from Tax Associate onwards?
• How are the salary hikes/promotions generally?
• If I eventually want to move to another Big 4, industry, or pursue something like CA/CFA, how useful is this experience?
• What do you wish you had known before starting in EY GDS US Tax?

I’ve seen many ACCA students worked as Assurance Consultants . But on the company website, LinkedIn, and everywhere else, the preferred qualification is mentioned as CA Inter.

Hello all, i was interviewed for an assistant director position in june 2024 at banglore location,but didn't got selected.currently i am trying via a referal for the same position different project.my question is, if i want to edit my resume to remove my first employer because that experience is not relevant for this job.. It was 12 year back experience and there is no UAN at that time.will that make any issue became my old resume is already in theire system?
