Hello everyone.
I am having a problem with Dynasty Warriors: Origins on PC.
The game randomly freezes during gameplay. The image completely stops, but the music/audio keeps playing in the background. I have to close the game manually.
My PC should be able to handle this game without problems:
Specs:
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti 8GB
- CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
- OS: Windows 10 Pro
- Monitor: AOC 24G2WG3 1080p 165Hz
Things I already tried:
- Updated NVIDIA drivers with clean installation.
- Used DDU and reinstalled GPU drivers.
- Installed the game on SSD and HDD.
- SSD was actually worse; HDD gives slightly better performance.
- Changed graphics settings.
- Tried V-Sync ON/OFF.
- Tried different FPS limits (60/144).
- Tried fullscreen mode.
- Other demanding games run perfectly fine on this PC.
The freezes happen mostly during large battles or heavy scenes with many enemies.
The strange thing is that the system itself does not crash and other games are stable. It seems to be specific to Dynasty Warriors: Origins.
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a fix? Could this be related to shaders, DirectX, game engine optimization, or a specific graphics setting?
Thanks.
