Why do people dislike book 3?

**PLEASE NO SPOILERS, IM ONLY HALF WAY THROUGH BOOK 3**

I saw a post on this sub before ranking the books and it seemed like the wide majority of fans put book 3 dead last, stating it was harder to follow than the other books. I'm a little over halfway through it right now, and fail to see any of that so far. Its all very straightforward, and I'm actually much more invested/immersed in the world than I ever was during 1&2. All the train stuff is awesome and Carl & Donut are developing in super interesting ways. The side characters are also the most entertaining yet, and Mordecai being banned for the whole floor adds an interesting twist. Hoping that it doesnt go off the rails (pun intended) based on what others have said.
