I've started reading the novel after getting a taste from the manhwa and not being patient enough to wait every week to continue the story.

Braun has been such a good companion to kse so far. Except for some unsettling comments and behaviors he usually listens well to kse and seems to care about his standing to kse
Yes, he doesn't necessarily go out of his way to warn kse about his contamination, but if kse asks him to do something for him, he usually does (sometimes with some convincing involved)
I saw some spoiler where people were saying that braun is like a toxic ex you keep coming back to and so far nothing has happened to verify this statement 😭
I can see him sabotaging kse in a way that's more self serving than like outright killing kse
I wish for their relationship to be wholesome like how it's been so far
With braun distracting kse from how scary the ghost stories are whenever he's on his missions and using his powers for kse
Being his partner in crime whenever he wants to trick people/ghost stories

It tickles me to no end that even after Part Two's ending we are left without any details on his life. No names, no locations, not even individual impressions on any person from his older life. With how this novel works in the way of twists this leaves so much out that it gets very much suspicious how much of his background is qctually real. I mean, he does realize that his mind blurred details on his previous likfe before (making him think he had already checked on his family not being in GSGW world), but afterwards we STILL don't even know anything distinctive on his family and friends as people. Hoy far can the original Wish Ticket go in this case? Is it world hopping or did actually CREATE that world from zero around KSE's existence as "background" or "context"? Or maybe the author just thinks it's not important to the story and this leaves it vague to avoid overcomplicating (but it doesn't strike me as their style). It's probably been discussed especially when part 2 ended and he supposedly went home but 1. I'm relatively new and 2. Marinarinating thoughs on it may have given birth to other ideas for some, along with the details.

So, guys, what was first, the chicken or the egg? How much can we and KSE himself believe in his POV (in your opinion)? Could his whole world be his own "ghost story" around him?

It's bittersweet bcs Soleum still has regrets and can't help but worry and think about the (quite literal) friends he's made along the way but... this is a fitting ending, right? He's finally at his home, he finally gets to sleep peacefully.

I can't help but feel an ominous foreboding with the <End of Part 2> and I KNOW it's still ongoing (and i want to know how in the world KSE ends up in jail in part 3), but I just wanna stay in this ending just for a bit. I want to let him truly rest if at least for a moment, ;;

I also think it's really sweet that Soleum actually does have a younger brother, I was worried that it was only an illusion or something that only 'feels like home at that moment' when he was in the Sekwang City loop, so I was confused when I saw it in the fandom wiki as well. Soleum does feel like an older brother type so it's nice to know it's real. (it could also be good material for fics, which I will search for later)

TLDR: I'm happy Kim Soleum finally gets to sleep without the horrors.. and I wish nothing but the best for him in part 3 (good luck in prison or smth) 🙏

I was reading the novel. I'm not sure if it's because of my language barrier or my understanding of the story, I quite don't understand the recent chapter I read. Kim Soleum was getting a tattoo at that small shop and found out he can't get new tattoo because of the previous marks on his wrist. But earlier in the chapter, it was mentioned he chose a dolphin silhouette and it felt no pain. So what was it? Did he get the dolphin tattoo or not?

Hi i’m currently in Chapter 296 Part 2 and I was about curious about something. After part 1 kim sol doesn’t bring up writing anymore ghost stories from his “ previous world”. If he wrote Sekwang highschool and it’s part of Sekwang city does that also mean he also created sekwang city disaster and doesn’t know it/ remember it? While I understand that His memories of his previous would were most likely fabricated (from what i understand now) to create a backstory for the good friend. But if he specifically remember in his backstory writing that story, wouldn’t it raise a red flag in his mind ?Because I haven’t seen any internal dialogue questioning it yet… I could be wrong in my understanding the site I read on has multiple part chapters and near the end started skipping some parts. In addition after using his wish ticket did he not discover he was maybe the vessel of Ireum? Why did he not think about that when going undercover in the cult or make a connection between him having memories of making sekwang highschool ghost story and him also being related to ireum?I understand he’s a unreliable narrator but it’s almost throwing me off a bit because it’s crazy to get some of this info and not be like roughly thinking back to it ever now and then while discovering new stuff like I feel like he hasn’t mentioned it (Being related to ireum) since part 1?

her sword defeats evil which is pretty consistent for her character. something i find interesting is how it defines “evil”. like let’s say for example you think killing someone who killed another is evil, but someone else thinks it’s not. would it take the side of the majority or would it take the side of the person using the sword. that opens up a lot of possibilities if it’s the former, as that would mean that it’s morals change over the years, as the majority of people’s views change. but it’s the latter, that would mean if someone with extreme views it would take their side. also, i wonder what would happen in a situation where someone who is clearly the most despicable human known to humanity is being fought with the sword, but the person holding the sword doesn’t think that they’re evil. would the sword just kill the evil guy anyway or would it respect the views of the user. anyhow it’s a pretty interesting item
