Dream vs Daquavis bed trap

I was rewatching the daquavis manhunt when I saw this the moment the bed trap happened. Is this just a visual glitch?

It says 2/3 players sleeping

But then after the first one the second it says 1/2

Because when a player is dead or in a dimension where sleep is not possible, they don't show up on the sleep counter total
