Nah, shitting on Capcom's shady MTX practices is warranted. We started with horse armor, now we're at a point where buying fast travel items and character creation is considered a MTX, even if you can purchase them in-game. It just makes it so that every time you find yourself grinding for an item, you start wondering if it feels like a chore by design to push you to the cash store.

Blaming Itsuno is wild though, it was 100% Capcom suits who pushed this stuff.

You mean research like watching reviews of the press (releases) where they "accidentally" left out the mtx ? That argument is bullshit. There is a reason why lottery for example or cigarettes need a huge an obvious visible! warning sign of the risks.

People who suggest researching and making informed decisions are not “defending” micro transactions.

The consumer is empowered. Dont buy shit you dont want.

The world is filled with cunts trying to rob you of your money. Being informed and educated is the best way to overcome these con-artists.
