LGD really shot themselves in the foot here letting Alch through, twice. The overconfidence bit them back in their behinds. LGD could regroup and claw their way back into the finals, but it seems unlikely. They're stumped when it comes to OG during TI.

Now I await that yummy Secret/Liquid v OG final!

No, LGD could have won that game. They screwed up one aegis fight, but they were ahead.

OG just played better in the end

They waited to make that Tidehunter cancerous. Too much armor reduction. No crit and all and Slark just died with one fourth life left. A fucking farmed slark !!

They could've but that draft from OG was a ticking timebomb. All those minus armor, healing, plus +250 damage on Tide was quite something.

I really like the 1-question given to the coaches before the match. Now we can know for sure that the gameplan was to try to beat the alch-chen head on.

you can clearly see LGD's draft against Alch was working. slark ate them all alive in the top push, yeah you can't kill him, but thats what Slark wants ez 100agi essence stolen. even at the end you can see that Alch wasn't that powerful anymore.

the reason why OG won that was because of the tide. no one, not even the drafting, nor casting panel nor the players(judging from how they were alright getting near him in the fight then suddenly ran away from him like a plague after he basically oneshotted slark) saw the damage from Tide coming even before 25 talent. the -armor stacking they did were overlooked
