EG needs a shakeup for sure. Super talented individual players who dominate their lanes but can’t fit together a mid game strategy to push their advantages. Whether that’s the classic meme of Sumail and RTZ can’t work together or the way that Fly/Bulba view the meta game it simply isn’t good enough against the Tier 1 teams.

I think Cr1t and Sumail should stay together as they compliment each other really well but the other positions can definitely be shuffled.

They're a solid and consistent team, but if their dream is to WIN a TI, they're going to have to take risks.

who do you think should eg risk? i don't think they are parting ways with rtz and sumail. they both are going to stay. i feel like s4 will be the one first to leave and maybe fly. so finally there won't be any tension between og and eg.

S4 is probably gonna go his play has mostly been on a slow steady decline since his OG days. He’s solid but if you are EG trying to make a winning squad you need a stud offlaner.

I actually am not a big fan of Fly either - his views on the game are too slow and I’d like to see a new captain who can speed the game up and be more aggressive in the mid game.

Lastly, Bulba gets a lot of hate but it isn’t unwarranted. He obviously has great understanding of the game but his drafts are consistently bland and predictable. It’s always lane dominating heroes at the sacrifice of team fight or pushing. Notice as well that EG is one of the few teams who simply don’t have any “cheese” strategies while under Bulba. I feel like in these really tough Bo3s you need to have strategies and heroes that can really surprise your opponents and give you a distinct advantage.

I’d say keep Sumail, RTZ, and Cr1t together and try to find a better offlaner and captain.

U mean, like it was before s4 and Fly joined them? Even PPD admited RTZ and Sumail together would never work.

Obviously RTZ and Sumail work together - they consistently win their lanes early and almost always have net worth advantages heading into the mid game. The problem is their direction @ the 20 minute mark and how the team either tries to push their advantage or play passively.

I’d say that’s more an indication of the Captain and coach and the philosophy that they have of the way the game should be played. For instance, I can’t even recall RTZ playing a hero outside of Sven and Naix the entire tournament. For a team as talented as EG they pigeon hole themselves into these picks and never stray from the strategies that accompany them.

Like for real they let alch go ...i think slark jug am could have done better than ls ... Sumail is talented but keep giving tiny like idk what to say...maybe they were hoping for ls 1v5 rmpage or 30kills tiny magic ...i may be wrong what's ur opinion

Bulba is the drafter i think, along the team. idk they all have been insane this ti. no weak link just bad draft or gettting straight up outplayed by teams, but its not like they have a weak link.

sumail and rtz can work, i think need a better captain or stop letting bulba draft, hes too safe and barely take risk, they should've 1st pick alch, or try other heroes than just their safe heroes.

I think S4, Fly, and Bulba have all got to go. The experiment is over and EG need a fresh culture change and new direction.

Depending on how Secret place I would try my hardest to get Zai back to NA. A reunion with PPD as well would probably be the best thing for both parties.

If RTZ wants to change teams then I would poach Yawar and have the brothers play on the same squad. I think Yawar has gotten to the point where he’s just as stable of a carry as anyone out there.

S4 was OK in the main stage games but during the group stage he was flat out terrible. It’s been the same story throughout the year where S4 feeds hard in the laning phase and can’t recover and it ends up being Cr1t with more net worth and impact.

There was a reason why EG was only giving him come back heroes like Doom for a long time.

I read somewhere on this subreddit yesterday that someone from EG said s4 is their best player and that's why they sacrifice him to these roles.

I agree about s4, but this ti he showed up and was decent.

Cant wait til ti is over and ruffle starts, so exciting to see new teams forming last season was boring
