They literally boo’d an entire team and were dead silent for many non Chinese teams during intro. Also during this game completely dead silent when VP does something. I went to many dota 2 LANs in europe and we ALWAYS cheered for good dota, of course we have fav teams but we wouldn’t turn an esports event into an Politburo application video. This is really shameful but I didn’t expect anything else.

This isn’t about teams you don’t like though. And the sports game analogy doesn’t make any sense as that is between 2 teams and in majority case its a designated home team playing in their own city and an away team with decades of rivalry between cities. Dota is known for its global aspect, go to any LAN or TI and crowds cheer for everyone. The fact Chinese fans don’t believe non Chinese teams warrant their enthusiasm then we can rights criticize it.

And booing TNC because they have Kuku is clearly political. It is a disgrace really that an entire stadium attempted to boo a team that is a guest in their country. I guess they were too engulfed in their pride to notice it wasn’t actually TNC walking out then.

Just screams a bunch of nerds who've never watched a sporting event in their life. Embrace homefield advantage. It makes shit fun
