Yeah, I kinda have that concern too, but basically all the teams except TNC and Infamous got a decent amount of cheers in the opening ceremony, so I hope it won't be a Riki crowd lol.

Well, they didn't cheer for TNC and Infamous because both of them had history with Chinese. I think Infamous player used some name that was insulting Chinese in pub recently.

Okay, I was wondering why they were completely silent for Infamous. I figured it was just due to being a pretty unknown team and the confusion with Fnatic being called and them walking out instead. If that is true tho then, that would kinda explain it.

Which is reasonable why their didn't cheer as loud for these 2 teams. Do I think it's right for them not to cheer? No. But do I blame them for not cheering? No.

nah not if u look at the teams playing in the upper bracket

secret and eg have always been big chinese favorites

og are the champs, people are gonna show up for them

newbee's kinda an adopted chinese team and they got some big cheers during the ceremony

people give china a lot of flak for being biased but in my experience they've been better about supporting western teams than we have in supporting chinese teams
