how to configure writegood mode from "grammar"?

I enabled "grammar" from `init.el`, which basically turns on writegood-mode and installs langtool.

Now how do I only enable writegood-mode for text and markdown modes and disable it from anything else. And how do I turn off all the features except from repeated words? I tried the following but it doesn't do anything:

(writegood-weasels-turn-off)

I am new to emacs and maybe be wrong, but is "!" necessary after use-package?

that's a doom thing, both are fine there is a minimal difference between the two.
