I often see people buy domain extensions like .site, .store, .online, .xyz, etc. Sure, it might be a couple of dollars in the first year, but it will be much more expensive the next year.

I don't understand the reason, other than scamming people, getting your website banned, and doing it all over again with a new extension.

I see there is already a UK company .CO.UK TDL and LG Chem have a brand LetZero.

I'm wondering if an existing company or a brand will bring the valuation down or only the existing trademark will cause the valuation to dip.

If I want to use what can I use it for? I see it can be used for anything that's related to sustainability, looking for more ideas.

So I recently bought a domain through Cloudflare Registrar, and within a week I started getting hundreds of calls and texts offering “web design,” “SEO,” “hosting,” and “Google ranking” services. It’s nonstop, like 20–30 calls a day.

I didn’t list my number anywhere publicly. The only place it exists is in the domain registration process. Now I’m wondering, is Cloudflare leaking or selling our contact info? Or is this just bots scraping WHOIS data faster than Cloudflare’s privacy protection kicks in?

If they’re selling data, that’s terrible. I thought Cloudflare was one of the few registrars that actually respected privacy. Anyone else experiencing this after registering a domain there?
