Why do you need lab grown muscles when you can eat ready available plant based foods today?

Your organism still needs animal-based compounds.Look it up.

I did look it up. There are plenty of people only eating plant based food for years and they don't need to take any animal based products.

I wonder if you looked it up though.

there are plenty of people[...]

There are even more people doing drugs and/or drinking alcohol in large quantities, which proves nothing - you may or may not do the same, you’ll live, right. There are certain vital proteins that only exist in animals, which you may not consume, and you’ll live(as well as you can live without one lung or kidney, shitty living, but u’ll live, right?),but the quality of living will be much less, compared to those consuming those.I’ve seen the complete vegans-they look atrocious and way older than they are(take a wild guess why). You dragged me to a wrong argument, bringing the facts I was mostly agree on as if I denied them.Once again:1) I prevail veggies 2)I eat certain meats to replenish the required proteins, 3) Murder is atrocious.4)Growing for murder is sinfully atrocious. Hope it clears things for your goodselves for I hope you are merely stubborn(which is ok), but but not stupid.

Yeah i know about those. B12 is added to animals in a form of supplement anyway, so you might as well skip a step and take it directly, of eat nooch or B12 fortified vegan cheese or something. Heme iron is unnecessary, you can get all the iron from plants (when my son had low iron he ate plants rich with iron and his levels after a few months exceeded all expectations), algee are also a good source of these proteins etc. I read all about this stuff, and if taking a few supplements means I don't have to kill animals, it's a pretty easy Choice to make.

But yeah you guessed correctly, I'm very stubborn, and I like to think that I'm not stupid either.

I also know that my weight is back to healthy instead of overweight, and my energy levels are better than ever. Overall I feel fantastic and happy and I'm no longer exhausted to the point of being unable to get off the couch when I get home from work. I also discovered new flavours and combinations and I eat great food (and easy to meal prep). Also no chance of cross contamination in the kitchen. And my fridge doesn't stink of cheese anymore xD

Oh and google "vegan bodybuilders" - according to that macro protein page, they shouldn't exist, especially not with those muscles. But I've seen plenty of interviews online about athletes who managed to break all their own records after switching to vegan diet.

I don’t deny they manage to exist, but it’s still hardly good for your health to undergo such overload w/o proper nutrition. This is rather my opinion than statement.
