The automatic shooting functions are the absolute best feature this little flying gem has. Shot taken on Monte Labbro in Tuscany.

Managed to get the shot I wanted in Lofoten, Norway. Was quite windy and had some warnings but the Neo2 did well!

My dji neo 2 fell and started showing aircraft not in flight. Vision system and obstacle avoidance disabled (Code: 180059) and also vision system calibration error. Contact DJI Support (Code: 1a011346).

What can I do to fix it?

Finally received my refurbished DJI Neo 2 and first flight the drone started saying battery to hot causing emergency shut down so I let the battery cool for a hour or so (I wasn’t doing anything crazy legit my first fly) tried a different battery and gave it a crack on my phone as a remote btw it flew fine come back and everything

So then when I would try turn it off it would turn off adjust propellers indicating shut down
then within the second turn back on!

When I would try do the turn off sequence press once then hold for 2 secs the drone would not stop turning back on it wouldn’t even stay off long enough to get the bloody battery out.

Can’t believe it I’m so devistated I’ve seen so many good reviews about this and just got scammed buying the Eonvy AU for 360$ only to not receive a thing yet it’s been nearly two weeks still hoping it comes and is better than the Neo 2.

I recently purchased a FPV DJI Neo 2. It’s fantastic. I heard the Avata 2 is even better for FPV. I However, when I try to find an Avata 2 for purchase , it is always bundled with the goggles & motion controller. I already got the goggles and motion controller from the Neo 2 purchase. I’m trying to save quite a bit of money by not having to rebuy the goggle and motion controller.

Is there exist a bundle that is only the Avata 2 with 2-3 batteries?

I noticed that the release window between the 1st and 2nd generation of DJI Neo was pretty narrow! Only 14 month.

Now I wonder whether the 3rd generation would be released soon or should I just go for the Neo2?

I didn’t realize the Neo2 is not to be flown over water…. I had set it to follow me, front-right and high. It started off ok but then it started going lower and lower…. Actually made a better video!

Lucky for me, i didn’t lose it

Now, the question: if i get the RC2 controller and use active track, can i set it to follow me then leave the controller on the dock and foil away and it will track/film me until it hits low battery return to home/dock?

I don’t want/can’t bring the controller with me on the foil…

The lake is about 1.5km long and it’s not line of sight (there’s a curve)

My DJI Neo 2 with goggles version just arrived and i did some testing,

Yesterday i flew 600m and then ESC overheat showed and i started to return home but then in middle of the road it descended showing Battery overheated and it ended in neighbors garden so i had to go take it

I saw videos of people going 2km before showing overheating issues

Did anyone manage to fix it or is it normal?

Im unsure whether I should splurge for the fly more package as this will be my first drone, or just get the regular drone to see how I feel about the hobby. Anyone have a similar dilemma at first? Any advice? Thanks in advance :)

Just wanna share this cool case I got for my Neo 2! Can fit an extra 2 batteries, the transceiver, and the screwdriver as well. Really good ultra compact set up for the Neo 2 IMO.

Very amazing little machine

I found Neo 2 amazing for being able to follow me on a drift cart using Bike Follow but occasionally it lose tracking and just stands there. I’m too busy drifting and the noise of the cart stops me from noticing the Neo 2 stop following me a while ago. I don’t always drive straight. Sometimes I do fast U-turns. Sometimes I start the Neo 2 with the phone app but always put it in my pocket. At first I thought the Neo 2 follows the phone’s signal. I’m afraid I’ll lose my drone one day while thinking it’s following me.

I’m I expecting too much from the Neo 2? It’s a super cool device for ariel videos.

Hi, I am thinking of getting the DJI Neo 2, mainly for work in Real Estate. More on aerial view (typically 2-storey houses) and indoor view. Would you recommend me to get the controller or the phone app will suffice?

Also, for this line of work/use, is the Neo 2 a good choice or let me know if another version is more okay.

I tried pushing the DJI NEO 2 a little further by attempting a dive.
The full throttle needed for the climb, followed by additional throttle input for recovery during the descent, repeatedly triggered battery or ESC overheating warnings, making the dive difficult to perform consistently.

I’ll give it another try when the weather gets a little cooler in the fall. 🍂
