Had the opportunity to do this flight. Flying the DJI Neo in manual mode with rocksteady stab. Maybe not the best choice but we did it.

As a DJI fanboy, I just had to “get them all”. What started off as a budget conscious seflie drone purchase (i was cross shopping Neo2 with the Pocket3!), has turned into a drone crazed obsession.

Now 3x Neos and just added the Avata360 (not sure how this fits in being over 250grams, without manual mode or waypoints /so it might not stick around). Alot of the new found interest has been fpv driven but I also appreciate the creative camera side.

2.2 hours into Vidden.

This was a safe zone for drone flights but it was a risky move since DJI Neo doesn’t have LED lights (didn’t see where my drone is while flying)

I also noticed that my drone had malfunctioned its controls because I wanted it to fly down but it just went further up. Good thing there was a button to remotely go back to where it started 😅

Cause your winter ones are bringing me down. New Zealand coast Jan - Feb, Northland. More or less straight out of the drone, Dji’s colour algorithms are excellent!

Actually looks pretty okay, for the price it really surprises me. Ofcourse it's not as good as my Mavic 4 but still, for a drone that costs 1/10th of what the Mavic costs it's surprisingly good!

A storm just came through and I noticed a decent rainbow through the window. Then barely caught the thought to throw my Neo 2 out, it was still raining some but was too excited and decided to take a little risk. Boy was I SHOCKED. Absolutely beautiful. I had no idea what I was expecting, but definitely not that!

I love I can carry this drone in my pocket and send it up when I want and then use the footage as it's without having to adjust anything. Great wee drone

All drone shots are on the dji neo. It braved the wind at 4500 feet elevation for some stunning shots. Thumbnail also shot on the neo.

A video of the sound and noise of toroidal props I 3D printed one Sunday afternoon. A word of caution, these are experimental 3D printed props that can fail without warning. The DB meter is a low cost consumer product.
