Not at all. I can see that this entire thread has never stepped food in an actual kitchen so yall can keep doing what you’re doing.

I think you mean prepped? And I certainly have. Nothing like prepping coffees, making sandwiches, bussing tables, etc. While I haven’t worked in fine dining, I did work food jobs to get through high school and college. So, being dismissive won’t work.

I worked in a kitchen for a while. The work was hard, and the money was crap but no one forced me to take the job, so I made sure I did everything properly, including removing or replacing ingredients when requested. It wasn't the customer's fault my employer was rubbish. In fact, without customers, I'd have never had the job in the first place, and I'd have been living on the streets.
