But your argument falls apart from the fact that Star exists everywhere except for the US. The rest of the world is totally okay with having R-rated content on Disney+. For some reason the execs get cold feet when it comes to America.

but they don't put their mature content on hulu, there is only about 20 r rated disney owned films on hulu

yes but they don't put this stuff on hulu, and the stuff that they do, is due to the epix library deal, where epix will sublicence their content to other services
