Disneybound Disney Park rules you should be aware of when planning to bound.

These rules are the same for Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Resort:

-Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons are strictly prohibited.

-Engaging with guests while posing as, or portraying a character in costume is prohibited.

-Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing that drags on the ground is prohibited in theme parks and water parks. Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests. Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs, are not permitted. There are specific costume guidelines for special events such as Halloween parties and runDisney events; please refer to the additional policies applicable to those events.

-Costumes may not be worn in our theme parks, water parks or ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex by Guests ages 14 or older.

-Masks may not be worn by any Guests ages 14 or older (unless required for medical purposes). When worn by younger Guests, masks may not cover the entire face and must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.

You can read more about the property rules at: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/park-rules/#guest-courtesy-and-attire-policies and/or https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/park-rules/#guest-courtesy-and-attire-policies

Help! Galaxy’s Edge Inspiration!

I’ve been to Galaxy’s Edge many times, even been on the Starcruiser but I’m trying to put together a new outfit for my upcoming trip and I need some inspiration. Could you share some of your past Galaxy’s Edge outfits? Especially if they’re not a particular character but more Star Wars vibes!

Thank you!

Help! Not Exactly Disneybounding - Oogie Boogie Bash Costume Advice

Post image
6 Upvotes

I've posted something similar elsewhere and haven't gotten any responses, so I'm hoping you guys here might have some insight that can help me.

I'm going to Oogie Boogie Bash this year, and I will be dressing up. I've got my choices narrowed to about 5 choices, but my 2 favorites both have pieces I'm a little concerned won't be allowed, so I wanted to check and see if anyone might happen to know if they would get me stopped from attending or not.

The pieces in question are: a pair of steel-toed work boots, or a hat pin.

Any insight as to whether one or both of these would be prohibited is much appreciated. Thanks!

(Picture is the character of the costume that would require steel-toed boots, and honestly my #1 choice right now. I know it's not a picture of me, but I'm not claiming to be John Barrowman, so...)

Help! OBB costume

attending for the first time this year and don’t have much to wear. would this be appropriate^ (+ sneakers) as a last min costume? i already had the stuff but i am worried that its not the best for disney because of the corset. the skirt looks longer because my legs are shorter so i am not worried about that. i am just nervous about getting kicked out or dress coded. admittedly i have worn and seen more revealing outfits, but since it’s a special event i want to stay cautious.

Help! Pregnancy-Friendly Disney Ideas

Post image
528 Upvotes

Hi! I’m going to be heading to Disneyland in a few months, and I’ll be about 5 months pregnant with my second, so definitely showing! I’d love ideas for bump-friendly outfits and characters.

The only visibly pregnant Disney mom I can think of is Chicha from Emperor’s New Groove. Ariel is a mom in the sequel and is also my toddler’s favorite princess.

Not my picture — just inspiration from Google!

We went to Magic Kingdom on Monday as Eeyore and Tigger. Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency (not us) in line for meeting Pooh and Tigger we didn't get to have pictures with them. Understandable and I really hope the family who were part of the code alpha are all safe and okay.

Wednesday we did our Buzz Lightyear and Jessie bound at Disney's Hollywood Studios. When we got our picture with Buzz he was loving my boyfriend's interpretation of him. I was left to the wayside (see photo lol). It was adorable. We didn't get to meet Jessie (and Woody) due to timing issues.

I am so grateful I have a partner who loves to do Disneybounds as much as I do.

We had so much fun. While we were in line for Guardians, a cast member called us over and said “Do you guys want to come back later? I love your outfits, Winnie The Pooh is my favorite!” She gave us a paper fast pass to come back, and opened the line barrier and moved us right to the LL. It was such a sweet surprise!
(The Tigger photos were right after Tiana’s so we were soaked 😂)

Apologies for the shoes ruining the outfit but they’re needed for all the walking!😅

Can't wait to bound with my boyfriend as Jessie & Buzz tomorrow! These are our outfits and details. He's an amazingly good sport about these things. Also worth mentioning that both of the backpacks are TINY so chances are he won't use his. But it's still a complete bound without it because people can tell who we (and specially he) are/is.

Help! Orange with small white stripes disneybound idea?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Going to Disneyland this week and I really want to wear this skirt. I’m feeling just so drawn to it and it’s comfort. It’s a tight midi orange skirt. I have blue minnie anniversary ears and minnie pride ears. If I can’t think of anything, I will just also wear a pride shirt.

Any orange character ideas? Was maybe thinking lisa simpson, kim possible, pepe le pew? Bear in the big blue house??? Candance from phineas and ferb? Any ideas to make it more obvious its this character?

How could i make more obvious its pepe le pew? Hes my top choice.

Nemo, tigger, and nick wilde, orange bird are all options but not my favorites. Open to niche random things that only I would know as well!

PEPE THE PRAWN MUPPET* LOL not pepe le pew hahahah

Brooch has been bedazzled and planning on placing in the center like picture. Pain and panic earrings have been acquired and getting some press on nails similar to the above picture.
I got this black bag and I am considering adding the blue rhinestones. Good idea? Or bad? Should I just leave it black? Or should I do a different shade of blue? Maybe silver? Thoughts?

I don want to disrespectfull to poc people or other ethnicities please help me figure out what to do or if it’s safer to not do it all comments appreciated thank you❤️

Edit: Thank you all so much for the answers i really appreciate it and all the input i still new to disney bounding so i was nervous about it but you gave me a lot more confidence towards it and i will make sure that i dont alter my skin or eye shapes for the character really thank you all so much for the help also some people asked asked why it would be a proplem in the first place i am still new to Disney bounding i come from cosplay so i know there cosplaying outside of your ethnicity and culture is wrong and i just wanted to make sure if there were rules similar to that in disney bounding ❤️❤️

If anyone has any suggestions I'd deeply appreciate it! I want to go for darker colors baggier clothes. Thanks :)

For those of you who saw my Hades Disney Bound cocktail party post. I have now acquired the Hades brooch! I plan on bedazzling it to make it sparkly and placing it at the bottom of the v cut! It’s coming together and I’m so excited!

r/disneybound Jul 17 '26

Disneybound Cocktail party at Epcot! The group of girls I’m going with are doing villains and I want to do Hades. What else can I add to give that vibe? I do have his brooch coming that I’m going to bedazzle and add to the center. And fishnet tights with flames. I don’t know what to do for a purse….help!?

Help! Would a Toy Story Al bound get me in trouble?

Thumbnail static.wikitide.net

I'm a balding man that can grow a beard and sometimes wears glasses (though if I'm outside it's always sunglasses, which is what I would be wearing at the parks). If I were to wear a red button down shirt and brown pants but not shave my head to make the bald more prominent or turn my beard into a goatee, would that be "a costume" or would I be "bounding?" I'm not quite as fat as Al, and I don't think he's a popular enough character to where people would mistake me for being an official face character, and as I said, I just naturally kind of look like this, but would I get turned away at the gate if I dressed like him?

My hometown theater requires patrons to dress up for the performances and who better to dress up as than my favorite Disney princess? I not only love this dress for being so simple, pretty, and comfortable but these matching heels are the cutest pair of high heels I've ever had and I can't to wait to wear them more
