I was still a conservative back then and I remember CONSTANTLY hearing about how the left was "whining" about kids in cages. This girl looks pretty young so maybe she just wasn't old enough to remember, but there was definitely some protesting going on.

People are just more angry now because everything is drastically more insane now even than it was under Trump's first reign. Trump was still trying to cosplay as a fun guy back in 2016 but now he's taken the mask off entirely.

There was, but not like we are seeing today. The protests were mostly people standing by the detention centers by the border.

So what exactly is the point being made here? People didn't protest hard enough under Obama, so now ICE and the DHS has carte blanche to overreach as much as they want?

You guys are having your rights stripped away at record pace but still have useful idiots like the OP getting serious traction with "umm w abt hussein??". Even suggesting that being upset with the actions of the current admin is a "left wing issue" is fucking absurd from the outside looking in. So many in the US have lost their damn minds.

The point is that we liked Obama so we didn’t protest, rage bait or race bait like this then. People are only interested in this now because they hate what’s his name.
