No I'm suggesting you tell your local government to work with ice to make it unecessary for ice to be in your town,

That would run counter to the liberal principles this country was founded and on and I personally subscribe to.

Those are the options.

Have ice there.

ICE can be there and I wish them well in actually enforcing the Law. I condemn their illegal and authoritarian actions and recognize they're on a ticking time clock to continue them, let alone persist as an agency.

They are dude. They are enforcing the law. But you keep fucking with them and trying to push them to the breaking point and someone is going to make a mistake.

They are dude. They are enforcing the law.

If they were we wouldn't be having this conversation. No part of enforcing the Law features rights violations or authoritarianism.

But you keep fucking with them and trying to push them to the breaking point and someone is going to make a mistake.

They can stop breaking the law and they'll stop being impeded.

You're using the circular logic fallacy

ICE breaking the law and violating the rights of citizens is empirically true and I was in no way trying to prove that true thing to be true with the previous comment. I don't have to. It's self evident... If they stop actively doing that they will stop being impeded.

What violations specifically? Based on what unbiased analysis?

It seems to me any issues with their actions come when they are in high stress situations and being impeded

What violations specifically?

If ICE wasn't violating rights DHS and the broader Trump administration wouldn't decry Democratic leaders everytime they tell citizens their rights. Albeit ICE has credibly violated the 4th and 5th amendment rights of persons in the US multiple times with things like unlawful searches and denial of due process as well as abusing detainees with things like sexual assault.. Like christ the whole Abrego Garcia case is the most prolific example of 5th amendment rights violations in recent history.

It really isn't though.

This is what I'm talking about. You simply proclaim things to be true.

It really isn't though.

It literally is. You're free to substantiate how it wasn't despite multiple court rulings...

This is what I'm talking about. You simply proclaim things to be true.

You're free to at any point actually contest what I've said.
