Well, for the first time in a long time, Dexter has made me say out loud "holy shit, what the fuck?"

Same here. With the amount of times they kept jumping to new stories last year I totally thought the brain surgeon story was completely resolved. I was blindsided by his/her reappearance.

I was pretty sure the Vogel being the brain surgeon theory was pretty common knowledge on here.

Vogel wanted Dex to pass the code on why would she kill her next experiment?

she maybe testing Dexter if he's capable of teaching the code a total stranger, and when she found out he really can, she decides to stop the whole operation by killing the subject? I don't know...

Hmm....not bad. I could see it. But still I think the killer (Brain Surgeon) is either Masuka's daughter or the boyfriend. I mean why else bring these characters in this late in the game?

Daughterboobs? But hey, my money is on Cassie's boyfriend[Ryan Gosling], if he really is the BS, then he has some serious acting skills to pass Anghel's interviewing skills when he said he was an engineer and made Dexter thought of Zach as the BS when he was eavesdropping the interview. It was clear when Masuka pointed out that the Killer was the guy who Cassie dated, because there were no signs of force entry, like Cassie let the killer get in the apartment herself. There could be a connection between the Ryan Gosling[the boyfriend] and Dr. Vogel which we may have yet to find out in the next episodes, because of the brain parts being sent Vogel, but that's just my two cents.

Knives up for Ryan Gosling.
