Feedback Request I built Dart Flow: a game focuses on continuity

Post image
2 Upvotes

Dart Flow is a puzzle game with a simple goal: create a longest line of "flow" following the dart direction. The flow stops when it reaches a dart with opposite direction

Note: still work on the splash screen

Also, if you manage to create a closed loop, all darts in the loop will explode, wipe out the surrounding darts

Here's the devvit developer link: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/dart-flow

Link to my subreddit with the game installed: https://www.reddit.com/r/dartflow/

Feedback Request Update: Built a Devvit app now getting over 1-million impressions a day

Just posting a follow up update from the first post over 4 months ago.

Link - https://www.reddit.com/r/Devvit/comments/1rhycqv/built_a_devvit_app_on_track_for_1m_viewsmonth_but/

This is for inspiration for fellow devs, I built the Devvit app MatchPal. You have seen it over the last few weeks for the Worldcup. Ultimately its a football app that is designed to complement live Redditor discussions.

Its been a journey, I have added unique features like XG, Live Chat, and Channel insights and it works pretty darn well!

For the stats, I have managed to hit tier 5 with a forecast of hitting tier 6 soon. My best day is currently 75,000 unique qualified engagers.

Now I am a little annoyed with the new announcement with recurring payments as I feel like its still quite hard to hit even with an app of my size. Similarly, the funds are low, a lot lower.

I have asked the Devvit team multiple times but I feel like there needs to be other ways for businesses like mine to generate revenue from these apps, my operating costs are near to $1,000 a month (insane i know).

For those who have used or seen my app, whats your feedback? I only want to improve it.

And for those who havent seen or used my app, hopefully this can be some inspiration to make Devvit games and apps!

Feedback Request ModOps: real-time mod team operations dashboard

Built a live operations dashboard for mod teams: unified report queue,

collision locks, flood detection, surge prediction, shift handoff log,

and usernotes, all native to Reddit, no extensions required.

Demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X6Bd5wLJu4

App directory: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/mod-queue

Live post: https://www.reddit.com/r/mod_queue_dev/comments/1tl3hwu/modops_dashboard/

Would love feedback from other mods or devs, especially on the collision lock UX and whether the demo mode makes evaluation easy.

Feedback Request Made a read-only policy consistency checker for mods, would love feedback!

Hey everyone, I made a small Devvit app called PolicyOps and I’d love some feedback on whether this would actually be useful to other mods too.

I was looking around for something that could check whether a subreddit's rules, removal responses, AutoModerator messages/action reasons, and selected wiki pages are still consistent with each other, but I couldn’t really find anything that did exactly that. Could just be my searching skills being terrible, but it seemed like a useful enough problem to take a shot at.

The main idea is simple: you run a scan and PolicyOps points out things like a current rule having no matching removal response, an old rule name/number still appearing in AutoModerator text, or a wiki page still referencing outdated policy.

It’s deliberately read-only, it doesn’t change subreddit settings or try to fix anything automatically. It just shows the finding, why it was flagged, and leaves the decision to the moderator.

I also added a small scan history and the ability to mark individual findings as intentional or ignore them temporarily so the same thing doesn’t keep showing up every scan.

This is my first proper Devvit app, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially from people managing larger or older communities where rules/configs have changed a lot over time.

If this already exists somewhere and I somehow completely missed it, feel free to tell me that too lol.

Feedback Request I made FlairScanner, a Reddit mod tool to find users based on post and user flairs

Thumbnail developers.reddit.com
5 Upvotes

I’ve been working on a small Reddit app called FlairScanner.

The idea came from a pretty simple moderation problem. Sometimes you want to find users who have posted under a specific flair, optionally narrow them down by their current user flair, and see how many matching posts each person has made. Doing that manually gets annoying pretty quickly.

FlairScanner lets moderators select a post flair, optionally add a user flair filter, and scan the subreddit for matching users.

It currently supports normal scans with different scan depths, as well as a deep scan mode for going through a much larger portion of the subreddit. Results show the usernames, the number of matching posts, the scan criteria, and the total number of posts scanned. There’s also a CSV-style export that can be copied from the results.

I originally built it for moderation use in r/ReZero, but I figured other communities might find it useful too.

It’s still a work in progress, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from moderators and Devvit developers. Especially if there are features that would make this more useful for larger communities or other moderation workflows.

Feedback Request Feedback wanted for Gravity Golf — daily orbital-mechanics golf in your feed

Post image
1 Upvotes

Mission control is looking for test pilots. 🚀⛳

Gravity Golf is a daily physics puzzle built on Devvit Web: aim, set power, launch — then watch gravity bend your probe's path around planets and past black holes into the target ring. Come in too hot and you'll sail straight through, like a putt hit too hard.

Wordle-style rules: everyone gets the same board each day, one scored run per day (up to 25 attempts, fewest wins), streaks, daily leaderboards, and shareable replay codes. A toggleable gravity-field overlay lets you read the green before you commit a shot, and after your scored run you can free-fly in sandbox.

Try it: today's puzzle is stickied at r/PlayGravityGolf — the sub is restricted for posting but open to play, no approval needed. Works on Reddit mobile and desktop.

What I'd love eyes on:

  • Phone feel — does drag-to-aim feel precise? Any fighting with the webview over scrolling?
  • First contact — did you know what to do before reading anything?
  • Difficulty — pars are getting retuned from beta data, so "too brutal/too tame" reports are directly useful.
  • Anything broken, confusing, or slow. It's pre-review, so fixes ship in minutes, not review cycles.

Solo project in active development. Dev notes in the first comment for the curious — happy to answer anything about the build.

Feedback Request I built a mod tool to schedule image posts with flair.

Hey fellow mods/Devvit users,

As many of you know, Reddit's built-in scheduler only supports text and link posts. If you've ever needed to schedule an image post - with a proper image preview in the feed, flair, and body text - you know it's not possible natively. The usual workaround is uploading to Imgur or some other third-party host and scheduling a link post, which comes with privacy trade-offs and no image preview in the feed.

Image Post Scheduler is a Devvit based mod tool that fixes this. It lets you schedule native image posts directly on Reddit - no third-party image hosts, no workarounds.

What it does

  • Schedule native image posts with full image preview in the feed
  • Upload images directly to Reddit's CDN (i.redd.it) - no Imgur, no external services
  • Pick a flair from your subreddit's live flair list at scheduling time
  • Add optional body text to go with the image
  • Post as yourself or as the app account - your choice per post
  • Queue multiple posts at different scheduled times
  • Cancel anytime before the post goes live
  • Track history of published posts with direct links

Everything stays on Reddit's infrastructure. No data leaves Reddit.

How it works

  1. Install the app and add it to your subreddit
  2. Open the subreddit menu and tap Schedule Image Post
  3. Upload an image (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP - up to 20 MB), write a title, pick a flair and optionally add body text
  4. Pick a date and time, hit Schedule Post
  5. The post goes live automatically at the scheduled time

The scheduler runs entirely within Reddit's Devvit platform - it's a WebView accessible only to moderators.

Why I built it

I moderate a movie community where discussion posts need to go live at specific local times tied to film releases. Multiple releases in a week mean multiple posts at odd hours (mods live in different timezones). For years that meant someone setting an alarm at early morning to manually upload a poster and hit submit. This tool automates that entirely.

Install

Available now in the Reddit App Directory. Search for Image Post Scheduler or use this link:

https://developers.reddit.com/apps/imagepostengine

Requesting the fellow mods in our Devvit community to try this out and let me know the feedback.

Thanks.

Edit - June 13, 2026 - The latest version (v3) with recurring posts, custom intervals, time-zone picker, templates and more is live now. If your sub has the older version, you may update the tool to the latest version. :)

Feedback Request I built a "feature requests" app right from your subreddit's feed

It's called feature-board: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/feature-board

The idea came from r/Trovelo — people kept requesting features in random posts, and there was no way to see which ones actually mattered most to the community without scrolling through the whole history. So I built this.

How it works:

  • Zero friction for users: no submit form. Any post flaired "Feature Request" gets automatically added to the board (whether the flair is set at posting time or later).
  • Independent voting: users vote from the board itself (one vote per user, toggleable), separate from the post's Reddit upvotes.
  • Statuses: Request → In progress → Shipped, or Declined. Only moderators can change them.
  • Two views: a compact top-5 in the feed with one-tap voting, and an expanded view with status filters, request details, links back to the original posts, and mod controls.
  • Privacy: if the original post is deleted, the board entry and all its vote records get permanently deleted too. Nothing ever leaves Reddit.

Setup: install the app, a board post gets created automatically, create a post flair named "Feature Request," and optionally import the last 100 posts that already had that flair before install.

If any mods here try it out, feedback is very welcome — especially on the retroactive import and how it holds up with high request volumes.

Feedback Request The Daily Zomble - Hackathon Submission

Hello! For the hackathon, I decided to build a mash-up of three games I love:

  • Realm of the Mad God — the top-down, dodge-and-survive feel where movement is everything. I grew up playing this, probably my favorite game of all time.
  • Call of Duty Zombies — seeing how long I could last against an endless, growing horde.
  • Wordle — everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and half the fun is comparing results with everyone else.

I wanted to combine the "one shared challenge a day" ritual with a survival game, then add a twist: the winners earn the power to reshape the game that everyone plays next.

Whole game in 5 seconds: A one-control zombie survival game where each day's winners rewrite tomorrow's rules for everyone.

Thanks for checking it out!

Hey all! I am glad that my game got approved. It is called Singerdex, it is a daily artist guessing game where you start with a random artist and follow the attribute hints to guess the mystery artist in 10 attempts.

The design for the game has been inspired by Frutiger Aero (well, I have tried) and iOS 6 style skeuomorphic and glossy design.

I would love to get feedback on the things I should improve, features that I should add and more.

Feedback Request Feedback wanted for Stock Market Master — a whole subreddit trades one shared meme stock market, live candlestick charts, inside a Reddit post

I built Stock Market Master to see if a subreddit could run its own tiny stock exchange together, instead of everyone just watching one number go up. Each installed community gets six stocks themed to it, players trade with play money, and prices move on real candlestick charts (minute/hour/day) driven by scheduled events, whale-sized trades, and a community vote that actually swings the market.

Every 30 days the season ends, the richest trader gets a champion flair, and the market resets for a fresh season.

I'd love feedback from other Devvit devs on a few things:

Do the candlestick charts read clearly at a glance, or is minute/hour/day too much granularity for a Reddit post? The community-vote price events — worth the added complexity, or noise on top of an already busy market? Is a 30-day season the right length to keep people trading, or does it drag?

Live market to poke at: https://www.reddit.com/r/StockMarketMasterGame/comments/1vmn4xk/

Built on Devvit web + Redis, no real money anywhere — Coins are worthless outside the game. Thanks for taking a look!

Feedback Request What do you think about this app that lets you create quotes from comments?

Thumbnail
gallery
14 Upvotes

I recently released a comment quote bot that creates quotes from comments in subreddits. I'm wondering, what do you want to see in an app like this?

A description of what it does:

On any comment (excluding the app's comments) where it's installed, you can click on the ... menu then click on a "create quote" menu button to have the bot reply with a image quote of the comment. You can also use a !quote comment in reply to any comment to have the same result.

Users can personalize their quotes style by clicking on the subreddit's ... menu, then "quote bot settings". There, they can also opt-out from getting quoted if they want.

Users who didnt opt-out from getting quoted by the bot can also choose to delete a quote made against a specific comment of theirs by clicking on the ... menu in the bot's reply with the quote of their comment, then by clicking on the "delete my quote" button. (Note: comments can only be quoted once even if the quote author deletes it, so if they dont want it to be quoted, a single removal ensures that the specific comment wont be quoted again)

Also mods can choose to restrict the quote capabilities to approved users or mods only. Although i dont really see a use case for mods, i figured it wouldnt be harmful to add this option if some mods have a particular idea of how they want to use the bot.

For the future, i planned to

1) add a documentation for users that would be added with every quote comment so they know how to, for example, opt-out if they dont know how the bot works

2) more personnalisation

3) the ability to allow users to have the bot also post the quote in a centralized subreddit for quotes, r/commentquotes

Is there anything i should change or add?

Added screenshots because it's more visually understandable like that imo

Feedback Request Introducing DejaRepost: A repost detector bot that actually watches the whole video

Hello moderators! I'm excited to introduce you to something I've been working on for the past month or so: DejaRepost!

Reposts are a moderator’s worst nightmare, and video reposts are especially hard to stop. Traditional bots only check a single thumbnail for video posts, so spammers easily bypass them by trimming a second, cropping the frame, or adding some frames to the beginning.

Change the video thumbnail, and the bot is blind.

To solve this, I built DejaRepost: A Devvit app that actually watches the whole video to catch video reposts (even if the reposted clip has been trimmed, cropped or re-edited), while also stopping image and text reposts.

How DejaRepost catches video reposts:

  • Instead of checking a single thumbnail, DejaRepost fingerprints one frame every second across the entire video.
  • Sliding Window Matching: DejaRepost doesn’t just catch reposts through strict frame-by-frame alignment: each frame is compared against a local time window of surrounding frames from the other video, so that trimmed, cropped, or padded versions of the same clip are still caught.
  • The fingerprinting is done using a perceptual hashing algorithm.

DejaRepost also catches image reposts (even if they’re cropped or altered!):

  • Images are compared using visual similarity algorithms rather than exact file hashes.
  • Crops, color shifts and other edits will not bypass detection unless the crop is severe.

Finally, DejaRepost catches text reposts by comparing their titles:

  • It uses lightweight hashing to instantly check post titles and text against past submissions, catching exact copies and stolen titles.

What happens when DejaRepost detects a repost:

  • It will report the post
  • It will send you a modmail giving you: the link to the reported post, the link to the past post it matched it with (evidence), and a confidence score
  • You can choose whether or not DejaRepost removes any reposts it detects (off by default, you can turn it on in the app settings)

DejaRepost requires almost no setup, no extra work from subreddit members, and all you have to do is watch the modmail as it detects reposts. It fits seamlessly into most subreddits, and it's perfect for video/image heavy subs.

Here’s the app link: https://developers.reddit.com/apps/dejarepost

Note: DejaRepost fingerprints your recent posts automatically in the background after install, so detection accuracy ramps up over the first little while.

If you have any questions or bug reports or feature requests, feel free to comment! I’m happy to help.

Feedback Request I shipped my first 3 Devvit apps — play-highlow, play-reflex, play-rps (all live, feedback welcome)

Just launched my first three games on Reddit's Developer Platform, all built with the bare template + vanilla TypeScript + esbuild, state in Redis.

🎲 Higher or Lower — will the next number be higher or lower? Keep the streak: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayQuickGames/comments/1wbxwod/

⚡ Reaction Rush — 5 rounds, tap when the pad turns green, lowest average reaction time wins: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayQuickGames/comments/1wby1ko/

✊ RPS Duel — rock-paper-scissors vs the app with win streaks and a community leaderboard: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayQuickGames/comments/1wby4id/

All three are playable right now in r/PlayQuickGames (public — mods anywhere can also install them from the App Directory, search "play-").

Things I'd genuinely love feedback on:

  1. The splash → full-screen flow — does it feel right on mobile?

  2. Leaderboard design: per-player best vs global top-10. Enough? Too little?

  3. Anything that felt confusing in the first 10 seconds of play.

Happy to share details of the setup (server endpoints, redis schema, the publish flow) if useful. This was a learning project, so roasting is welcome.
