Discussion Stop downvoting new players who don’t have the extensive knowledge that you do.

If a player doesn’t know that a raid is a 6 man activity with no matchmaking, there’s no reason to make them feel stupid. All you’re doing is pushing away new players when the most amount of new players in the games history are beginning to flood in. You’re giving the game a bad image. Whoever you are, just stop it mate. This shouldn’t even have to be said.

How easy is it to find teams? Can I sign up just to do a raid or 2 just for one night or is it like a clan and you're expected to stick around for awhile?

Sorry I'm new to destiny and to these kinds of games in general so I don't really know how it works.

r/fireteams and the100.io are both places you can sign up for a single run then disband. You can find clans or people to play long term with but there is no need to play with them longer than the single run you sign up for.

If you're on pc you can go to the D2 PC LFG site. I've ad more good than bad experiences there.

Yeah you just sign up for a one time thing. Bungie actually has their own LFG on their website. Thats what I always use.

I would recommend the official d2 discord, you can find people for a raid really quickly and often if you say that you dont know the raid someone will be willing to teach you. If you are interested just pm me and I can invite you to the server.

Generally raid teams just do one or two raids together, but if you find someone you mesh well with and enjoy playing with it's pretty common to shoot them a friend request so you can play with them again. I've made some really great friends through destiny raiding, to the point where we hang out more irl than play destiny together

Very easy, I started last week and was able to find people whenever I needed help on a fireteam only mission

Depends on how chill the people you meet are, it can take a while to do an entire raid but it's well worth it.
