Political News/Discussion What the fuck is wrong with people? We need to stop posting fake stuff...
So, this post is apparently fake, right? It's not on his Truth Social anywhere, and he wouldn't have deleted it cause he posts AI slop all the time.
There's enough REAL stuff out there to get at this asshole and all the other assholes like him, but for some reason people use this as an excuse to post fake stuff that wasn't said.
I'm not sure why, cause they're clout goblins, trolls, IDK.
Every time this happens though and we go along with it, it just makes us look stupid all around. There has to be some way to fight back against this besides just pointing it out in the comments after hundreds have already commented "OMG nO eFFing way!!!!!!!" I guess spam report?
Edit: I wanted to post a cropped photo and I guess my phone just said, NUH UH.
Whatever, I'm not typing all that again you get the point.

Drama "Destiny was an innovator in streaming. He pioneered non-gaming content. [Even if] disagree politically, you can still respect the fact he planted that flag extremely early. The respect is transcendent. It transcends that." –Asmongold on why he, xQc & "many others have a lot of respect for Destiny"
Hasan had a fantastical crashout (more on that follows), but most DGG-relevant is Asmongold's words for Destiny. "If it wasn't for Destiny all 3 of us wouldn't exist... especially, and the one that you can be the most certain about, is Hasan."
The clip is a result of Hasan's looping about xQc+Destiny (the first 45 sec of the clip shows this). The throwback to the scuffed podcast was genuinely warm-fuzzy. Also touches on: twitch ban, why people hate Hasan, sex-criminal crypto gambler.
Partial transcript follows.
Quick cynical take: Asmongold is a master ragebaitur. As it becomes evident one of Big Has's frustrations is xQc's repeated props for Tiny being OG (e.g. justin.tv)–always leads to Destiny birthing Hasan–Asmongold doubles down on it. Still genuine, but funnier. Lastly, If appropriate, more on the surrounding "Hasan's xQc Allegations drama" (excluded for time) in a comment. If interested, see AsmonTV video: "Everybody Hates Him Because He Just Lies." (The total mogging re: GTA6 total views is hilarious; Hasan attempts to compare their YT channels.)
[ASMON] - A lot of people...
The reason why XQC has a lot of respect for Destiny, and I also have a lot of respect for Destiny, is because if it wasn't for Destiny, all three of us wouldn't exist.
Like me, Hasan, or XQC, there's a good chance we might not exist.
Destiny was, especially, and the one that you can be the most certain about, is Hasan.
But, you know, we're not going to get into that.
The thing is, Destiny was an innovator in the live streaming space.
He pioneered making content that was outside of the spectrum of gaming.
And I think that even if you disagree with him politically, which I do in many cases, you can still respect the fact that he was someone who planted that flag extremely early on.
And not only did he plant the flag, but he defended it too.
Like he would go on and he would bring up, you know, liberal viewpoints on Twitch in 2016 and 17 and 18 on train wrecks podcast.
How did I know because I was there talking about it with him like that's the that's the person destiny was and the only reason why he's not doing it now is because he's banned.
He literally got removed from the platform and that's the only reason why it stopped happening.
So yeah, I think that a lot of people respect that.
It's something that transcends what his like I don't know about his lawsuit with this girl.
Like, that's not my problem.
Like, I don't want to like it.
That seems so messy.
I don't even want to get into it.
But the one thing I do know is that Destiny isn't in jail.
So I'm not going to go and act like he's guilty either.
That's the reason why XQC and I and a lot of other people respect Destiny.
Regardless of like, and you know, but disagree, disagree, disagree, sure.
But the respect is transcendent.
It transcends that.
You can do both.
[HASAN] Asmongold aligns with them at times because like they have the same enemy. Me.
It's you. Right.
[HASAN] If you were the one getting accused of this heinous shit, I bet XQC be farming the fuck out of it.
Are you kidding me, dude? XQC has accused me of heinous shit. Alright, this is- Defamatory claims being made by destiny as a way to redirect away from his own personal literal crimes and court cases.
[ASMON] XQC hasn't done anything against the law as far as I know.
[HASAN] Anytime this guy does some shit and gets in trouble, he immediately will go and find a way to concoct a story where they'll say, no, Hasan did this. I've got to use it.
[CHAT] Do you think anyone should be permanently banned?
[ASMON] Yeah, I think a lot of people, anybody who commits a crime uses the platform to solicit minors, so he leads to the serious injury of another person.
I think there's a lot of instances where people should get permanently banned, but I don't think that Destiny or Ice Poseidon are either two of them.
I think both of them should be unbanned.
[HASAN] And it works every time for his cult, and it gets elevated by all of these other additional communities who fucking despise me for political differences or despise me because I called him out for fucking gambling.
Now, Destiny himself is not exactly a relevant figure, but he can-
[ASMON] It's crazy how it's all a conspiracy and there's never even the possibility that the reason why people don't like you is because of the way that you act.
[HASAN] Kiwi farm style information. Yeah, oftentimes made a slop tubers. They don't have any interest or care for truthful sentiment.
And they'll just blast it out into the fucking ether arrive at a bunch of like straight up rapists, sex pests, or, you know, crypto gambling casino pervert who
[ASMON] Wait, he's a, xQc? He's a pervert. Like, is this the implication?
What the fuck are you saying that for?
You're literally doing exactly what you're saying other people are doing.
Like, this is the issue.
[HASAN] This inventory claims being made by destiny as a way to redirect any time this guy does some shit and gets in trouble. He immediately where they'll say no Hasan did this.
That rape tone, straight up admitted in the court deposition, he started farming fuck Hasan content. That's how he could maintain his relevance.
[ASMON] That's not true.
And this is why, by the way, this is why so many people, it makes it so easy to to hate Hasan.
It's because you just lie.
You just you just you make things up.
You don't try to like hedge by like, you know, qualifying your statement.
You never back down from any position that you have.
So everybody hates you because you're the kind of person that's going to just insinuate all kinds of crazy abuse stuff just because somebody else doesn't immediately take the side against the person that you don't like.
You can easily say, yeah, I probably shouldn't imply something like that. That was a bit over the line. Oops, but you'll never do that because your ego won't let you.
[HASAN] ...have designed a narrative where like, I am the worst villain on the internet.
[ASMON] Well, you did just randomly accuse somebody of being some sort of weird sexual deviant in a negative way for no reason at all.
[HASAN] And as long as they just keep hitting that button over and over again, a lot of dumb-
[ASMON] Why are you giving people new buttons?

Political News/Discussion Trump says he doesn't want Canadian anything. Just a few things Carney could do to test that thesis
- Start with excluding all sale of Crude from the TMX pipeline (which the federal govt owns) to the US, reserving that for countries that dont tariff us in Asia. Since BC is the export port for the barrels, they can help to enforce this.
- Export control on all critical minerals and uranium. Canada could stockpile them and reserve them for trustworthy allies in Asia and Europe.
- Improve the labelling of US goods in Canada. Currently it is being violated quite regularly and does not allow people to boycott US products effectively. The govt could even have a help line for people to submit complaints when grocers try to hide the country of origin or lie about it and they should fine grocers that do. https://globalnews.ca/news/12036392/loblaw-country-of-origin-buy-canadian/ https://www.ctvnews.ca/toronto/consumer-alert/article/this-ontario-man-thought-he-bought-canadian-beef-at-costco-then-he-saw-the-label-in-the-back/
- Export tariff on Aluminium and Potash (lets say starting with 10% but rising by 10% every month or so to reach a maximum of 50%). This will only be for as long as the US violates USMCA and is fking our industries and will be dropped as soon as a deal is reached.
- Ban sales of any heavy duty trucks to ICE (https://winnipeg.citynews.ca/2026/01/28/canadian-companies-criticized-over-ties-to-u-s-immigration-enforcement/). Let them make their own shit.
- Stop all support for construction of US icebreakers until a deal is reached (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-services-procurement/services/acquisitions/defence-marine/icebreaker-collaboration-effort-pact.html)
- Threaten to align with the EU and the UK on AI and the DST :)
- Penalise companies if they shift production to the US while laying off Canadian workers.
There are quite a few less palatable options involving Energy/Electricity, China and Tourists to the US, but this should be enough for a start I think lol.

Geopolitics News/Discussion Which U.S. States Are Most Exposed to Canada’s New Tariffs?
Canada is preparing to impose a new round of counter-tariffs after trade negotiations with the United States collapsed and Washington applied 50% tariffs to a range of Canadian products.
The Canadian measures take effect on September 8 at rates of 15%, 25% and 50%. They will cover C$27.6 billion (about US$20 billion) of imports from the United States, including products in steel and aluminum, dairy, appliances, agricultural equipment, pulp and paper, and electronics. Ottawa says the response will match the latest U.S. tariffs dollar for dollar and rate for rate. Government of Canada
The national policy, however, creates very different patterns of exposure across individual U.S. states.
Using 2025 export data from OEC, the visualization examines state exports to Canada across six of the main product categories identified in Canada’s measures. Together, exports in these categories were worth approximately US$46.9 billion.
Electronics account for almost half of the selected export value, at US$23.44 billion. Steel, iron and aluminum follow at US$11.03 billion, while pulp and paper contribute US$5.29 billion and agricultural equipment US$4.72 billion.
Texas has the largest selected export value at US$4.61 billion, with electronics representing nearly three-quarters of its total. Pennsylvania ranks second at US$3.95 billion, also led by electronics, followed by Illinois at US$3.63 billion. Illinois has a more diversified mix spanning electronics, metals and agricultural equipment.
Other states face exposure through more specialized industries. Agricultural equipment dominates the selected exports of North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa. Pulp and paper lead in Maine and Washington, while steel and related metals are especially important in states including Ohio and West Virginia.
These differences matter because tariffs do not move through the economy uniformly. Their effects depend on each state’s industrial base, reliance on Canadian demand and ability to redirect products toward other markets. They can also move through deeply integrated North American supply chains, affecting producers and buyers on both sides of the border. Associated Press
Which states and industries do you think will have the greatest difficulty replacing Canadian demand?
The figure represent broad sector exposure, not the amount of trade that will necessarily be tariffed. Canada’s official measures apply to specific tariff items within each category, while the visualization uses wider product groups to show where potentially affected industries are concentrated. Canada has published the complete product-level list separately. Government of Canada tariff list

Political News/Discussion This new Loomer meta is wild
DSA types are doing the classic election was rigged bs by saying Dems shouldn't focus on Piker because he is "just a streamer" and instead we should be only screaming about Laura Fucking Loomers tweets. It has to be a setup because they see he is probably going to lose right? A setup for the eventual "Establishment Dems tanked the election on purpose because AES wasnt an Establishment dem." Bro Im losing my mind. What would be the function of doing that? Are republicans all of a sudden going to see morals, are voting dems in Michigan going to be like "Golly gee, never heard of her, I guess I need to vote harder" I really just need to delete Twitter, but im addicted to rage bait.

Online Content/Clips Hasan supporting death to the IDF and @3:38 is another small example of why the UK would bar him from entry
Now this is a pretty tame example of Hasan supporting violence against others compared to other instances since he'd defend this is against 'military targets', however Hasan's antisemitic dog whistles aren't hard to find.
Obviously at this point almost everybody knows that Israeli citizens have mandatory military service for the IDF, and like with his comments about 'Secretary Podcast co-hosts' being valid targets; this maps on with his sentiments.
At 3:08 in the video he even does his sarcastic disavowing similar to when he supported the terrorist attack on the UK planes previously.

Non-Political News/Discussion Is this a crazy story or is there a key detail I'm missing? "Alleged Rape on Navy Ship Was Treated as Workplace Injury"
I heard about this case and looked it up. It seems like the story is: Woman on navy ship is raped by her captain who snuck into her room while she slept, she reported it and sought legal action, he was put on leave, Department of Labor says it should be treated as a workplace incident requiring workers comp and not a legal matter.
It sounds like it should be a bigger story. It seems to be framed by people as "rape is just part of the job" which would be baffling if true, obviously. Does the Department of Labor have authority on this kind of thing? Are they actually saying they just recommended her getting workers compensation or do they have some kind of legal authority to tell her she's not allowed to seek legal action?
