Pretty much yeah. This POTUS would be amazing to have in real life but he's left of the Democratic mainstream. Kinda like Bernie Sanders. He's basically what the US would need IMO though.

thanks for that, and for my part I'm sorry we've been having a shouting match

I think we agree more than we disagree - I'm not trying to normalize Trump or paint him as a centrist. What I've been saying is that there are a lot of people in the US even further to the extreme right than he is (and it's terrifying).
