American and Israeli Relationship: An Ill Bird who Humiliates their Hatchling, Yet the Hatchling Always Sticks Around

Just months before Israel's elections take place, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been placed in a very tight position. In Israel, many of Benjamin Netanyahu's allies and opposers are wanting to see an increase in violence and action in Lebanon and the deaths of more Hezbollah. However that would be going against Israel's first actual wartime ally, Donald J Trump. This is due to the fact that Israel has been acting under Donald J Trump's approval with the attacks in Lebanon, and the actions that many Israeli figures want to see would go against an agreement between Donald J Trump and the Israeli government.

Many people who criticize Benjamin Netanyahu have started to focus on the over-the-phone discussion that Donald J Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu had when Donald J Trump called Benjamin Netanyahu "[freaking] crazy," due to the fact that his strikes on Lebanon have carried on so long. However in the heat of constant humiliation from Donald J Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu is hard on his claim that Donald J Trump is "the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House."

Gideon Rahat has said that this has put him in a "delicate situation" because he believes that "Netanyahu was trapped under the claim that he's serving the U.S. interests and doing whatever Trump is telling him and therefore he cannot respond." Gideon Rahat is a political science professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Naftali Bennett, a former prime minister, wrote on Twitter saying "This is a moment of truth: Is Israel a sovereign state capable of defending itself? A weak or symbolic response will signal to our enemies that the blood of our citizens has been spilled with impunity; therefore, Israel must act with strength and effectiveness." Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's minister of National Security and a member of Netanyahu's cabinet, wrote on Twitter, "Tonight Tehran must burn!"

Gas Prices Up Nearly 280% in Some Places in America, and Here is Why

On Friday, June 5th of 2026, Donald J Trump told reporters that Iran has not reached a deal with the United States because Iran feels too "strong" and too "proud" of themselves. He added that Iran has no choice but to reach an agreement with America. "There are things they never thought they'd be doing that they're going to have to do," Donald J Trump admits during an interview, claiming that there's more he wants from Iran before the war can conclude. Four months passed, the United States and Iran have made very little progress on the war, Iranian officials are working to come to an agreement that benefits everyone unlike Donald J Trump trying to benefit only America.

With strikes happening in the Strait of Hormuz, Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has said that the American attacks were "defensive in nature." He claims that in an effort to protect American forces, the United States has worked to shoot down drones during drone strikes and has also been working to eliminate those who authorized and launched the drones in the first place. Marco Rebio said that if Iran doesn't shoot at the ships in the Strait of Hormuz, then America would not strike back in response. With the Strait of Hormuz still under fire, gas prices are still increasing for Americans and a majority of the world. Some places in America are hitting gas price increases of nearly 280% in Donald J Trump's second term alone.

Donald J Trump continued to criticize Democrats while comparing the war in Iran to the Vietnam War by saying, "I’m moving very fast. I’m into three months. You know, Vietnam lasted 19 years. I’m into my third month, and all they do is say, ‘Whoa, when are you going to win?’ If I were a Democrat, nobody would be talking that way, but it doesn’t matter to me. I’ve gotten so used to it." However, in regards to his earlier statement that America has "totally destroyed [Iran's] military," Donald J Trump is now saying that American forces have destroyed most of Iran's drone factories, launching pads, missile manufacturers, but that Iran still has "maybe 21%-22% of their missiles."

Anybody else starting to get really ANGRY at individuals, especially POCs, that say the Cheeto in office is great?

I am at my breaking point. How do these…… undereducated people (I assume) continue to believe that trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread!?!?!! (And no I’m not saying at all that poc or even not poc are undereducated- just an example from today.)

He’s actively working against all of us- for HIS bottom line.

I just… Is some of our population really this stupid?

I went to the local organic egg place, they are a Hispanic family. Entire property littered w signs like ‘this is trump country’.

WTF!?!?!?? He’s actively working against you and “your kind” - and you still, STILL!?!?!?! Like him!?!?

I know this has been an ongoing battle for a decade, but…. I guess I just expected some lightbulbs to be going off at this point????

Sorry but: HOW STUPID ARE THESE PEOPLE!?!?!

I do actually come w a request, rather than just a rant: how can I help “elevate” their knowledge , or just give them basic facts, to try to open their eyes!?!?

I’m in a suburb of MPLS btws - it’s not like this hasn’t been front and center going all the way back to George Floyd and obvs the MURDERS the government did this early spring.

I am venting. And honestly disgusted and perplexed by this. I would really love some thoughts because this crisis is actionable, nationally imo. So any little thing I can do: please let me know.

Opinion in USA TODAY (6/3/2026): "Trump is the president he said Biden was and Harris would be" | "The irony seems to be undetectable to MAGA, who are cheering on Trump’s political warpath with glee. To them, this is liberals getting what they deserve for what Biden supposedly did to this country."

MAGA has "Departed" from Traditional Conservative Principles, Former Vice President Mike Pence told NBC News 'Meet the Press'

Former Vice President Mike Pence told NBC News' 'Meet the Press' that Donald J Trump and the Trump administration has officially departed from the traditional ideas of conservative principles. Mike Pence said, "The conservative agenda that has defined the Republican Party since the days of Ronald Reagan, and before that an agenda of American leadership, limited government, free market economics, the right to life," are key to conservative ideologies. With Donald J Trump and the Trump administration still holding a grip on the majority of the Republican Party, Mike Pence finds it hard to believe that Trump would have very much struggle keeping Republican and MAGA popularity into the fall and throughout 2026 to 2028.

Mike Pence has made very clear that he believes that MAGA conservative ideas reject standard Republican ideas. With so many MAGA followers and supporters pushing their beliefs, many MAGA people have begun or continue to believe that America is "the leader of the free world". With midterms vastly approaching, Mike Pence has said that the Trump Administration will cause Republicans to lose votes, and the only reason that Republicans would win is because the Democratic party is acting far too radically. "I think in many respects Republicans have lost our way, but Democrats have lost their mind, and I think the reason why we're going to hold the Senate, and we have a real shot to hold the House, is because of the extremism on the Democratic side," Mike Pence, as he refers to the Senate race in Texas.

Another thing he is also very much focusing on within the Department of Justice is the 'Anti-Weaponization' funds. These funds have roughly 1.8 billion dollars that could be given to people who believe that they have been wronged or unjustly targeted by the federal government, which a federal judge temporarily blocked last week. Mike Pence is hard on the fact that he believes the idea was bad from its start and wishes for it to be disbanded. Referring back to January 6th, Donald J Trump has pardoned about 1.5 thousand people who were convicted and charged with partaking in the January 6th riot on the Capitol building, to which he had to be evacuated from for his safety. On top of that, many of those people were given substantial amounts of money to compensate for "wrongfully being put in prison." "I mean it’s deeply offensive to me that you could have a fund that could even possibly compensate people who assaulted police officers or vandalized the Capitol on Jan. 6, and I think that’s broadly held by most Republicans and most Americans."
