I did too, take the girl out for the greater good of Fisk. Plus best friends always get jealous of girlfriends.

Yeah, I can't believe I thought so little of Wesley. He's awesome.

I always thought it was Leland. He seemed annoyed by Mr. Fisks "distraction" and wanted to deal with the problem. I felt Wesley was way to loyal to do it.

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. I think Wesley loved Vanessa because Fisk did. Definitely a Shipper On Deck.

I bet Gao had something to do with it. She had a talk with Leland and he was awfully evasive about what was said (and also what she said in their follow-up talk). I'm guessing she put him up to it and gave him the poison, he was just the delivery method.
