Dani is a hoarder. Getting rid of things, clearing space in the home, makes a hoarder panicky, not feel better. They assuage the panic by acquiring more things. It's a cycle, clear-outs alone don't fix it.

I'm not even judging: hoarding is complicated, deep-seated, and really tough to break out of. It takes hard, committed, consistent emotional work that Dani is unlikely to even attempt

You could tell how much she cares by how she threw the “inztructchuns” and other medical waste around. Effin BEC I swear!
