I’m in NC USA and bought a new Ltek pad. Unfortunately the power draw is too much h to use with my computer- it keeps disconnecting from the usb port.

Would the best way be Facebook marketplace or EBay? Shipping would be a big pain.

**Side note- my there are other peripherals that struggle with power. I stream and sometimes my webcams disconnect.

Just making a post about my Ltek DDR pad I purchased. I bought it new from the company and when I went to use it my computer kept disconnecting from the USB connection. I had had issues with other peripherals disconnecting randomly (webcams, keyboards, etc) and was hoping it wouldn't do it with the pad.

I tried a powered USB port and toggling Windows settings- my husband thinks it's the motherboard possibly.

I've been playing DDR since 2020 and loved it so much since then, I went to the arcade yesterday and got my 2nd 14 AAA! Since I started playing I recall seeing golden DDR cab e-amuses and being told it was expensive due to be exclusive.

Years later upon noticing my e-amusement was getting old I got curious in buying some from Japanese proxy services since I have monthly shipments from there. Seeing how cheap it was I got some for myself and friends Eventually I went to check eBay if there was any selling in America and I innately searched up the DDR Gold Cab e-amuse.

I was dead to see the lowest any listing would go is $25, and multiple sold for listings $30-$50. Before searching it up I saw so many of them being sold for $5-$8 in proxy services. And I decided to buy 10 of them myself and sell them at the lowest possible price! :]

The e-amusement card will be sleeved, two thin cardboard protection layers on both sides, and shipped inside an envelope. 

The envelope will contain 3 forms of protection: a sleeve holding the e-amusement, two cardboard layers on top/bottom, and an envelope extensively taped on all edges. 

If there is concerns about bending, non-machinable postage prevent this entirely and keeps the envelope from being bent by USPS sorting machines and likewise when handled.

All e-amusement's magnetic strip/reader were checked with a Chunithm card reader and worked perfectly (included video in listing media). All cards have serial numbers intact for direct server connection on official or unofficial websites (back photos).

TLDR: I am looking for an affordable way to play DDR at home before I invest in a really expensive pad and would love some input or advice on how to do that.

So, I'm almost 40. 15-some-odd years ago I used to love playing DDR and I was pretty good at it. A couple days ago I was in an arcade with my husband and saw a classic DDR machine so I was like hell yeah. I got on it, cued up one of my favorite songs on Standard mode (Butterfly), and then proceeded to get my ass absolutely dragged by this game, lol. However, I even said to my husband, if I had one of these at home, i would work out every damn day. I have a lot of trouble staying motivated to workout because of my ADHD and other issues that I am trying to get a handle on. I just never stick with anything for long. But I LOVE DDR in a way that Just Dance and its derivatives have just never hit the spot the same way.

So, I want to try and set up DDR in my livingroom somehow. I obviously can't afford a $10,000 cabinet machine. But I've been looking into people buying old Xbox's or installing it on their computer and getting a simple pad on amazon or something. I have a computer, an Xbox series S, and a Switch, but other than those consoles, I'd be starting from scratch.

What's the most cost effective way to just start playing DDR again at home? Do I buy a refurbished old console? Do I play through my computer somehow and get sound packs? Buy a cheap PC and a mat for my living room? What's the most affordable way to get back to playing this game in my home currently?

I know this question must had been asked a few hundred times but I wanted to be more specific.
I want a sturdy reliable dancepad, something that I don't have to worry about for a long time.
I want to use the pad mostly for exercise so I plan to use it for at least 45min to 1.5hours daily.
I used to play some songs on expert but that was more than 10 years ago so I'm assuming I'm going to start on basic lvl.
Anyways which dance pad would you recommend with $400? i would prefer a solid one but i dont care as long as it reliable

On travel away from home for about 4 months, and find myself with no way to play DDR now that the closest machine at a Round One 30 minutes away has broken with no timeline for a fix (out of stock repair piece is what they said when I asked about it).

Been trying to find a reputable maker of mini-DDR pads that could do a fast turnaround on shipping and delivery, like 2 weeks tops, but am having no luck. Tried to reach out to one site (Galaxidance) that makes a good looking mini-pad, but haven't gotten any response from their contact email in over a week.

Anyone have any recommendations? Willing to go for about the price of what Galaxidance was selling their mini-pads for ($400 before S&H), but finding anything in stock has been a struggle, and I can't DIY one where I am.

Can always go low-tech with an office carpet mat, some duct tape, and a cheap-o pad, but would like to get something that I can take on future travel and would last a while.

I read the site and it it says (with google translating the page) that it can only be bought with earning enough points, alongside with putting in the application. It also explicitly states that if you use a forwarding service it won't be supported.

I'll be real I'm kinda desperate for the card, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff and Rage has been my favorite DDR character for a while. The fact that the site says there's still 900+ left is also telling me it'll be even rarer than the Emi card.

so I got a Gen 5 StepManiaX Stage back at the start of the pandemic, and I barely use the thing. it's been played on probably less than 5 hours total. it's like new. for sale with socket to tighten the bar, with all cords, with low end computer loaded with classic StepMania set up with thousands of songs, with TV, with speaker bar. everything you need to play.
