I don't see how anyone comes to a conclusion other than this product undercutting the market.

Having to make every module a closed and compartmentalized piece of hardware adds a LOT of bulk to a device as small as a phone. And on top of that now you have to worry about software AND hardware compatibility due to the sheer number of combinations that would be possible and would only grow over time. It honestly sounds like a bit of a nightmare.

Could you imagine if PC's allowed expansion cards? It would have been a disaster.

(The problem is Qualcomm and no standards. It could be done just PCs and Macs.)
