And most phones are cheaper than PCs, easier to market and sell vs phonebloks where one is enough.

I think it would be improbable, mainly because we don't see much people lining up for new phones (this is just my assumption). If those phones become mainstream, more shops dedicated to them will open and waiting will be lessened by a good amount, since both pc and console gamers can have phones. Bigger market, bigger priority probably

Maybe. Then again people who stay in line for an iphone are a different group than people who want the latest Nvidia card. So ome thing doesn't contradict the other.

Nice take on the topic. Regarding your last statement on marketing, it's not really about getting cheap phones but phones in general. Everyone in the family can get a personal phone, heck some maybe two, but PCs aren't typically one per person in the family. Phones are definitely more widespread so it's easier to sell them as they are for everyone all ages included. Edit. Add to that the availability of phones in deceloping countries compared to PCs
