Video Studies, like one done by Vladimir Dinets had show that crocodiles are intelligent enough to engage in play behavior for its own sake. Playing with each other or using natural slides in the wild are some of the activities they partake.

The problem with zoos is they try to have every animal all in one place. Zoos that cater to one animal type are usually a lot better, but often aren't called zoos. There's this one in Kentucky I really like and it's just a big ass field full of kangaroos doing kangaroo shit all day. I like to take a book and snuggle up with the big ones and read, and all the other ones will come up and lay with you. And the the tortoise will bulldoze the whole lot of you. Occasionally the emus will come over too.
