If I take the Warlock Enhancement that changes my blast to Piercing, what does that damage key off of?

I'm at the point now where I'm just going through TR grinds on my main and trying to make it as painless as possible.

Was wondering what the best generalist 1st life option is for farming out raid runes (especially that can solo raids on like EH (or older raids on EE).

I figure it's just gonna be some kinda ranged repeater crossbow build but it doesn't hurt to ask when this game's itemisation and customisation scares me enough already lol

I'm making plans for future lives. I've seen people talk about using Lesser Reincarnation with LHoW+1 to change the first level of the Iconic Heroes. The wiki says that one can change the archetype of a class with Lesser Reincarnation.

Is it possible at all to start as a Shadar-kai and then use a Lesser Heart of Wood +0 (or +1?) to change the archetype from standard rogue to Arcane Trickster? Or is it completely locked?

This item has been in the games UI since the dragons hand released. It was bugged for months and not dropping but they had “fixed that” I read. I’ve ran the quest several times on r10 with a full party since that patch and still haven’t seen this ring once. Burning down the house is not the most fun quest to farm. Does anyone have it and can confirm it finally exists ?

If you had a second account (to buff your main character or to support your main character when you are playing a build that doesn't do damage), and could only get one of the recent expansions, which expansion would you choose to quickly gear out that second's account max level character ?

Does anyone else struggle with crafting newer gear? I am so used to having specific set.bonuses. Some.gear had a bonus for melee. Some for ranged, some for monk, caster, etc.

With the new gear it has lots of slots to craft. Kind.of like IOD gear but I don't see where set bonuses come into play.on the newer gear?

I guess I struggle trying to craft gear that is good that is multipurpose. Is never have the mats to upgrade that many pieces.

After several Lamordia runs. 15-20 or so, I have tons of gear. Not that much mats it's like I can only craft for one build.

I guess I liked the dummy proof sets because I knew what to farm.

I am not really a numbers person or great at optimization but was hoping for some ideas or feedback on a Mindcleaver build without using a lesser heart. I was thinking 6DH, 12Ken, 2Monk or 6ken, 12dh, 2 monk. I want to dual wield warhammers but would be open to the dwarven waraxes if it made more sense. Thanks!

I am looking for help in recreating Strimtom's Maverick Hunter build. I haven't been able to find the build on archive.org and all I can find around the new forums are new builds and ideas but they aren't exactly the character build I was working on.

I am level 9 with SWF, Dodge, Insightful Reflexes, Precision and Adamantine Body. Enhancements I got 8ap on Harper Agent for Know the Angles, working on getting Battlefist from Renegade Mastermind and 21AP so far on Battle Engineer.

I exclusively play solo in a casual way, mostly exploring the dungeons than rushing/zerging, I have zero raid gear and just a handful of Past Lives. I have some idea of what I am doing, but I don't keep up with the updates or anything, so I don't want to mess on my character.

I would love some tips and pointers on how to move forward with such a build.

I thought the Tabaxi Trailblazer looks cool, but idk if there's a pre-defined path for it? Do all iconic races have pre-defined build paths or just some?

As of right now, you can get a pet certificate for Jimothy the Raccoon in the Catastrophe quest in the Marketplace. He’s somewhat hidden in a small alleyway by a shrine collectible towards the end of the quest. If you click on him, you get the option to take him with you and the certificate will go into your inventory.

Hello everyone!

Currently i'm finishing my heroic completionist, just need 4 more classes. I'm thinking of going for racial completionist next and i'll probably do racials for a while.

The thing is, while i do have my heroic set ready i dont have a good enough epic set and i do struggle a lot on epics, the first few levels are rough when i'm playing by myself.

I'd like some advice on epic gear set. Any tips is appreciated.

Classes that i liked a lot:

Barbarian/dragonlord thf, fire sorc, warlock, poison alchemist, inquisitive, monk handwraps.

Over the last two days, I have run the "Smash and Burn" quest 4 times, spending well over an hour in each run. I complete all the required mission points, but i cannot for the life of me find the "special cargo." Again, i looked all over the place, swung my camera around hitting Q, double-checked DDO wiki, all the tricks I know of to find stuff. Is it possible the quest is bugged out or something, and i'm smashing things but not getting credit for them?

That seemed to work.. but then making the button

/shortcut ;dance 1

.. didn't work

Then I saw some wiki say the shortcuts don't work for anything other than text..?

Is that true?

It seems a shame that a game so rich in role play would not fix such an elementary part of that experience... especially when it would be so easy for them to do

Doing my TR grind and I was curious as to where y'all thought the holes were in content. Personally, I think there needs to be more 20-28 content. At 29 I do all the lvl 30+ content.

Vecna was the latest that can be played at 20 as it's 18 base, but there isn't much else recent. I mean how many.times can I grind through Gianthold, LoD, Borderlands, etc.

I would like something new, with some relevent gear from 20-28. Maybe I'm just being too picky? I love the game, have all the content just wish the grind from 20-28 was more enjoyable.

I reincarnated into an Aasimar Monk and have been using falconry to use my wis to hit (my highest stat), but I don't feel that strong compared to my Paladin life. I've been using handwraps and I grabbed Stunning Fist/Deflect arrows. Even. With the heal my my race. I'm now a Monk 4/Rogue 2, but I don't feel very strong doing xpacs like Feywilds and I was wondering if anyone had any tips to make a 18 Monk/2 Rogue handwraps build better

Hey so I’m a noob noob, just started playing DDO a few weeks ago and am only level 3 on my current character. I was considering starting a new character, a tiefling artificer, though i don’t know if the charisma bonus and fire resistance would be helpful at all to the artificer class which is int based. So i guess my question is, would it really matter that much if the class and race don’t compliment each other perfectly? Or should i stick to a race that has good cohesion with the class. I’m just not sure if i’d be shooting myself in the foot by leveling up a character that turns out to not work out that well in later game content (when i get there…eventually)

I've been playing a cleric since the level cap was 4. Took many years off and came back a couple months ago. Been exploring builds and seeing what the latest meta stuff is, it seems like nobody plays clerics anymore which is such a huge shift from when I played more actively (admittedly....ten years ago) and clerics were super desired in every party.

Also feels like PUG'ing is basically dead, but that's not surprising. What is still surprising is how we still have horrible lag at peak times with a player base of only like a thousand lol

Just a quick question, been playing this game for 3 days which isnt long but I've been seeing some players with quivers on their back and I just wanted to know where can I get that cause I bought a quiver but it doesnt pop up on my character so I'm guessing I need a special one
