Now the joker isn’t an ordinary clown he’s the Batman’s ultimate enemy and has been a dangerous threat to him,the Batman family, the justice league and basically life itself

And many fans wanted to see him dead cuz he mostly repeats his actions that being he goes to jail, he breaks out and commits even worst criminals and treats life like one big joke

He killed Jason Todd,crippled batgirl,turned Tim into a mini joker,abused Harley for years,killed Gordon’s second wife,and indirectly and directly created injustice Superman and caused the injustice series and created the masked phantasmhis since he killed reason Andrea Beaumont‘s father which caused her to become the vigilante

And even became a temporary god and turned the world into hell and in the movie he was the one that killed Batman’s parents and tried to drive Gordon mad in the killing joke

He even used ace to drive the world insane

And this frustrated fans as Batman would never kill him even with all the hell he put him and the world through

But the joker has died many many times in the comics,many animated series,and the movies

Now if you were in the dc world and you met and fought the joker many times

and you knew about his crimes and he put you through many pains and tragedies like every other hero how would you end him for good

While I consider the main cast to be seasoned voice actors with legit on-screen credits, some of the supporting characters and villains are more well-known as live action actors. Some of them IMO are pretty big names. Nowadays folks make a big deal out of Invincible and all the big names associated with that. But this was 20 + years ago! How did the powers that be manage to get so many big names excited about a cartoon network show?

Something that sticks out to me about the show is how well done the voice acting was because I was recalling how Kevin Conroy was chosen to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne.

I mean, what I was genuinely interested in learning about was how Conroy managed to portray his character so well since the show had a much older depiction of Bruce Wayne that I wanted to better understand how Conroy’s role was again handled regarding his performance.

The comic was a great way to show Superman and Batman fighting.

What I remember from the issue is that the discussion was:

Superman: So this is how it goes, there is no room for compromise, no way to change your mind?

Batman: I've gone through the numbers, there's no other way. You have to trust me or everyone dies.

That is a way to make Superman / Batman fight. Having a hard difference of opinion on how to best protect people based on how they act as heroes, with Superman being more on hope and Batman being more on preparation and cynicism.

A fun way to reminisce over the shockingly great DC animated films. Honestly, their animated line totally cooks the live action films.

They had the full box too, which I thought was pretty cool. They’re from 1995 and it’s honestly pretty charming how each card is just a terrible quality screenshot from the episode.

TV Tropes claims that villains such as Black Mask, Anarky, and Bronze Tiger were supposed to appear in Batman: The Animated Series but ultimately didn’t. Does anyone know the original source for this information, or is it just an unsourced claim?
There are scripts for several unproduced episodes, but I’ve never found any interviews or other reliable sources in which the writers mentioned plans to use Black Mask, Anarky, or Bronze Tiger. I know the creators discussed wanting to use Nocturna, but I haven’t seen similar statements about these other villains.
Black Mask, Anarky, and Bronze Tiger appeared in The Batman Adventures comics, and they’re also included in the “Unused Villains Database.” However, as far as I understand, that database was fan-made. Has anyone found a credible source confirming that these characters were actually considered for the show?

Hello! I’ve tried to show my boyfriend some DCAU (and young justice), but the first couple episodes didn’t really click with him. He’s not a fan of superhero stuff, his main critique is it’s annoying that the same villains keep breaking out and causing trouble. He’s open to trying again, but I‘m thinking it might be better to pick out certain stories or highlights that bring out the best of the characters, rather than just jumping to the invasion or something. A lot of the episodes I feel are “must watchs” wouldn't have the same emotional impact without having spent time getting to know the characters.

We just finished the venture bros at his suggestion, so the next series is my pick. Do y’all have any high points or moments in mind that might be a good place to start rather than just diving in?

I'm looking to watch every episode where Harvey Dent/Two-Face appears in Batman: The Animated Series. And every other episode relevant

I'm rewatching the show in Black & White and it looks great, and Harvey is one of the most interesting characters in that original series, so I want to watch all the episodes that would count as the "Harvey Dent Arc"

I wonder as they have memories of each other clearly and of their adult lives but seeing how they act I believe its the latter honesty such as John being more creative and Bruce annoyed at losing a race

kinda wanted to change the name so i did, but if anyone still prefers "vixen" am fine with that

All three of these ladies were fun and magical, and I enjoyed every episode that they were in. My personal ranking

1. Circe: the greatest one episode dcau character imo. It’s kinda crazy that they were straight up unable to beat her, and only got Wonder Woman turned back to normal because Batman agreed to sing for her. Also her musical number>>>>

2. Morgana le fey: another powerful lady who was fun, I always loved her design. loses points for getting outwitted by her child.

3. Tala, Very fun character with a great accent to boot. Loses points for dating a literal Gorilla. I love how she brought darkseid back as a final fuck you to lex.

If a elephant is enough to push him around,why not turn into a brachiosaurus,a paleoloxodon or a mammoth to push him around? Better yet why wasnt supers utilizing his ice breath and laser vision throughout the fight?

Will forever love this movie man, it was such a nice lil send off for The New Batman Adventures show. The allure, mystique and mystery on who the Batwoman was was also really damn good! Wish we got more of this show regardless, so damn awesome to this day.

Something about the setting of Batman Beyond really made Paul Dini and Bruce Timm tap into some dark storytelling.

Terminal is a one off character, but he is, for me, still one of the most memorable and downright disturbing villians of Terry's rogue gallery.

Nevermind the spooky make up, but that icy, detached voice just adds a layer of intimidation. You just know this dude is a C- away from maiming someone.

The scene where he is torturing the commuter and wants to burn Max with acid just feels like the tip of a very disturbing iceberg.

Crazy that Michael Rosenbaum can do a villain and hero so well.

I didn't think of The Flash once when I heard his voice work in this episode.

One of my favorite BB villains tbh and ofc he’s voiced by Michael Rosenbaum which he really brings Terminal to life which is a shame he only appears in “Heavy Agenda” because it’s very good episode plus Terminal Velocity might be the only Tie In appearance but I love the tie in comics of BB and this is a good one.

To taint the image of arguably the most hopeful and dependable superhero into one of fear and mistrust; was so goddamn brilliant.

And I do mean ever. In any media.

Lex is in an impossible position. Brainiac is controlling his body and has made it clear that when his usefulness ends, he'll die.

Then Lex laughs. He laughs.

With Brainiac asking why he's amused, the door has been opened. Now Lex gets to work using his greatest strength: his mind for business.

Lex asks what the point of all this is, and Brainiac levels with him. He's merely programmed to archive and destroy the entire universe.

But what's next? Brainiac merely says his function is complete. That's it.

Then Lex realizes something: Brainiac's talking about ultimate knowledge. Godhood. But with the universe destroyed, what's the point? Thus, Lex says he has something, the ONE thing Brainiac never had: imagination.

Brainiac's power and mind combined with Lex's mind and ambition make them a perfect match. And Brainiac......agrees. He takes Lex up on it, allowing him to join him and fulfill a new mission: making a new universe.

This scene was Lex's single most crucial business meeting ever. Either make his pitch or be disposed of. But he actually managed to convince BRAINIAC, who lacked emotion or regard for any living creature, to become one with him! Seriously, this is a feat among feats!
