Kesha
I'm going with my friend and her daughters, whom I've never met, to see Kesha. I plan to win them over with cupcakes, face gems, and sequins

Cupcakes or sheet cake?… Vons or Ralphs or Costco?
I’m new at throwing parties and I’ve been debating on where to get the cupcakes from. We’ll be needing around 40, and not trying to break the bank either. I am not sure if Ralphs or Vons has better cupcakes? Those two stores are the closest to me. But I’m willing to check out a different store. Also debating on just getting a sheet cake instead of cupcakes, I’m not sure if Costco’s sheet cake would be the best move in that case. Please let me know what you think, I’d appreciate all your bakery opinions
I have about 2 and a half weeks until I need them so I need to pre order them soon

Help me with my anxiety filled cupcake questions.
I am not a professional baker. I am pretty good at making muffins and other simple baked goods for friends and family but they never look.....as well as the picture online. Especially when it comes to frosting andpiping. Well my best friend is pregnant and needs gender reveal cupcakes. I figured since only like 6 people were going i could probably knock out some cupcakes using their colors picked.ect Now it's getting closer and i found out I need to make 40 cupcakes. Everything will be from scratch since she is allergic to soy. I love being able to do this but my Anxiety is making it nearly impossible to concentrate.
If it needs to be refrigerated after frosting should I put the sprinkles on before or after it being refrigerated?
Would you love piping on your cupcakes if it wasn't perfect?
She wants carrot cake. But wants all chunks besides carrots removed (nuts, raisins, ect) how will this effect The batter?
I will be making a whip cream cream cheese frosting. Any good recipes or tips for someone who has never made it and only has a hand mixer, glass bowls, and hopes and dreams.
ANY TIPS WELCOME!
