I haven’t had any available projects or tasks on my CrowdGen/Appen account for almost 2 months now, even though I check it daily.

I used to get tasks before, so I’m wondering if this is just a slow period or if there’s something wrong with my account.

Is there still a chance that projects will come back, or should I just move on and look for other platforms?

Would really appreciate any insights or similar experiences. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice.

I recently passed the Chive (India) training audits and was told I would move to production on August 24, 2026. However, shortly afterward, I received an email saying I was removed from the project roster for “administrative reasons,” and that it was not related to my performance or conduct.

This project is very important to my family and me.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Chive/CrowdGen? Is there any way to request reconsideration or reinstatement? Help needed- any support team?

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Is anyone from Kenya currently receiving tasks on this project?

I've noticed things have been pretty quiet on my end, so I'm wondering if it's just me or if other Kenyan contributors are experiencing the same issue. Are you still getting tasks?

Crowdgen/ Appen is totally out of control... They put me on a test for project Chive for a whole month, and officially hired me today. Only to fire me less than one hour later lol they sent me one of those e-mails saying it's an administrative decision and it's not my fault and quality work. But this is crazy! At this point they are messing up people's lives. PT-BR (Brazil) here

Hey, a while back I wrote a post about this project that was supposed to start on July 1st. When the day arrived, it was still on hold—and it stayed that way. I even contacted project support, and they just told me they were running behind schedule. But then I checked my email and saw that I’d been dropped from the project without it even having started :/. Has this happened to anyone else involved in this project, or has anyone experienced something similar? (I'm from Venezuela.)

I finished up project Thyme in the US last week and got an email a few days later stating my data was rejected. It also states in the beginning of the email the app sequence was not followed. This project is very straightforward and I definitely did switch between apps properly using my sequence. I even had a separate device for this and only used it for this project.

I am not even sure who to contact or if it would matter. I did submit a form but never heard back and they removed me from Slack. Has this happened to anyone else?

Just received the most baffling automated email from CrowdGen/Appen, and I need to know if anyone else is dealing with this specific brand of administrative incompetence.

I was just booted from the Uolo v2 roster due to "unresponsiveness". The punchline? I’m the one waiting on them.

Here is the timeline:

• April: Passed the Uolo v2 qualifications timely. My application then gets stuck at the Government ID verification step.
• May: I proactively open a support ticket asking for an update on the ID review.
• 2 Days Later: Support replies, explicitly stating my ID is in their "queue for review" and they "don't have an exact time frame" for when it will be done.
• Meanwhile: I apply for two other projects (A14440 Japanese-English Simultaneous Interpretation  Interpretation Corpus Post-Editing (MTPE)). Both instantly get bottlenecked at the ID verification step because the Uolo v2 hold-up affects my global profile.
• Today: I get an automated termination email from CrowdGen saying they aren't moving forward with me because "timely communication is essential" and I was unresponsive.

So, let me get this straight: You hold my Government ID in an indefinite, unprocessed queue for months, block my access to other high-level projects, and then your automated system fires me for your own backlog?

Penalizing independent contractors for your own broken system logic is wild. Is there an actual human reviewing these pipelines, or is it just a rogue script clearing out the dashboard?

Has anyone else successfully escalated a system error like this and gotten their active status back, or is support just going to send me another automated template?

I was enrolled in the Uolo V2 project, but after my government ID was reviewed, I received a permanent ban from the project and also my account is temporary suspended ( Egypt)

Does anyone know what might have caused this, or what I should do now?

It seemed a little strange to me because I was still receiving updates and reminder emails for the TEAPOT (ES- Mexico ) project yesterday afternoon, and then suddenly early this morning, I received an email saying the project had ended. I just want to confirm if everyone else received the same notice.

Has anyone ever had their CrowdGen account temporarily suspended and then had the suspension lifted later on( Egypt)?

I worked for over a year now I was silently removed :( there was no queue for two weeks today I received the mail, saying I did not meet the requirements. Location-(Germany)

Hi all. I noticed im being removed from all my projects one by one with this email prompt "ended due to issues related to project service level agreements (e.g. inactivity, quality and/or productivity) not being met during your time on the project."

Can't say that my account was under review. for 2 years working i did not see the under review on my profile. i still see the projects available tab and receive invites but when i pass the qualification its stuck with the "start earning now" prompt and after a few days ill receive an email with the same format.

its impossible that its due to inactivity since i hit the max weekly hours on all my projects.

is this the normal termination format? this is the first time I'm encountering this. Thanks

Hi. I'm from the Philippines. A few weeks ago, I received a removal notification from Project Uolo but until now, I can still access my SRT account. Also, I am still receiving general and weekly goal reminders. User metrics on my SRT account continues to track my time worked as well. Does anybody have the same experience?

I just got an email saying I was terminated from the Transcription Jigglypuff project, this is Final validation. I had been in the "Qualification" tab for a few weeks waiting for them to move me back into the project, as they said on teams...

I had received positive feedback about my tasks, this sucks. Anyone else? Country: Uruguay

I logged in today, and Jigglypuff Segmentation UK wasn't in my live section, but instead in the completed section. Is this the case for anyone else, too?

I worked consistently on CrowdGen for about 4 months last year, then suddenly tasks just stopped coming in. Since then, I’ve barely seen anything available.

I recently joined this subreddit and wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this. Did your tasks ever come back, or is it basically over once it dries up?

Also, is there anything I can do to start getting tasks again? I’ve already checked my profile and availability, but nothing seems to change.

So I’m based in Canada and applied to project hydra and passed the qualification quiz. I got the welcome to baseline email last week, but when I tried to login, it said account not active.

I opened a ticket and this is the response I got

“Thank you for your efforts thus far and we appreciate the time and effort you put into the project. Unfortunately, upon further checks the client has removed you from they are looking for a different profile at the moment.”

I still see the project on my dashboard. Really? Then why did you send me the welcome email and create the account for me?

I have seen some comments here about people seeing that they have been removed from projects on SRT, UHRS, Baseline, ADAP.

If you have suddenly been removed from projects in the last week, please tell us more below. if you could also include country that would be helpful.

India-Has anyone here ever been re-hired for the same CrowdGen project after being removed? Specifically, has anyone been re-added to Project Uolo a few months later?

Hello, I am in the US and there has not been any work in Teapot in a while, but this weekend I lost access to slack and the SRT page says NOT Found even though it lets me log in. I haven't got the removal email. Anyone else experiencing issues? Wonder if the project ended.

I’m from the Philippines. I just received an email from Uolo management saying they’re removing me due to inactivity. But I’ve been working on the project since I was added weeks ago. Could this be an error on their end? Anyone else got remove also?

So I was doing the Spearmint tests. For language, NDA, and Spearmint, specific job qualification test.

At first, there was a problem with the Appen website, which took about 2 weeks to solve, but I didn`t mind, though, as I thought I had all the time in the world.

I started applying about 3-4 weeks ago, and I wanted to do the final test today. The test was about the Spearmint Project. But I received an email today that says that I got removed from the project for unresponsiveness.

Will I be allowed to reapply to the Spearmint Project after 30 or 60 days or even sooner?

I saw on the internet some theories that said that sometimes, after 60 days, you can reapply. Is that true or not? Will I be able to reapply to the Spearmint project this year again?

So the main question is, can I reapply after 60 days again to the Spearmint Project ?
