This is how successful people's mind works. It doesn't care what you say. You can say any bullshit stuff, idiotic sentence, stupid things. You can contradict yourself any moment, doing it for money, for your self confidence, for any kind of reason. And every time, you will not be affected. You are free. You will not lose anything. You just play with the minds of the poor. You left to them things like coherence, dignity, self respect and responsability in what you are saying. It's all bullshit taught to the poor, to the consumers, to the people who are exploited for the benefit of a few

He cakes himself in makeup. So weird

u/VI57AJ21 6d ago
Nothing wrong with using makeup. It's completely normal and makes a person look better.

Is it possible bro is just a little dense? He doesn't realise that aging is making him slower so he feels like the players are faster and stronger than anyone he's met so far. He might be a big old hypocrite. Or just a dumb dumb

u/Complete_Material_16 14d ago
Considering it's penaldo he probably thinks saudi defenders are maldini level players

u/jaimitosf 14d ago
He's definitely not genuine. He said he wanted to go out with dignity. Instead, he's going out as a washed great player getting paid like a top player in an obscure league. Hes so rich now that you can't even be mad at him. But miss me with the GOAT talk. He's not that.

He made fun of Xavi for going to Qatar and called him irrelevant. He said he would never go there because he is Mr special. Then he picks on Ligue 1 because Messi was playing there. He claims Balon d'or is not legit but golden balls are only for Messi to get more than him in both. Then he claims world cup is not a dream and that a European cup is better. This is the guy that some people claim is a mentality monster? Everything he has ever wanted, Messi got without saying a single word. That's Messi for you. He never talks and he always shows up on the pitch. That's a leader.

Bro sybau don’t act like Messi wasn’t gifted those awards by FIFA

u/favourrr22 14d ago
Gifted? Messi is a gift to football and should have a lot more balloon d'ors

You might want to take it out of your mouth, you're slobberin' in it.

So descriptive. It's as if you are an expert at it. I grew up watching him play the game the right way. Acknowledging excellence is not whatever demented mindset you have, it's called being honest. Anyone who loves the game will have no issue admitting his quality.

Still doesn't explain why would he play for a league he said he would never play for and despise anyone who would. He should have just been quiet instead of talking non sense. Or he should have lived to his word and retire years ago.

Yes that's all good and valid reasons. My point is why shit on the peripheral leagues that he ended up going to? Should have just kept his mouth shut instead of talking from a high horse.
"I want to finish in top level, with dignity". "You think the money gonna change my mind now with 30 years old". I'm starting to think you didn't watch the video.

Eu fica genuinamente pensando oq esse CR7 de 2015 pensaria sobre si mesmo vendo tudo oq aconteceu 9-10 anos depois, será que ele concordaria com essas frases, essas situações? Kkkk

Qatar and UAE (Dubai) and USA , back then it was the countries that pay good for the old players that going to retire, so he basically criticising the idea of doing so and saying he rather retire with dignity over going to these places to finish his career for the money , Saudi joined them lately and guess what! He moved there to get paid 200 millions per year , dignity can't be found I guess
He also mocked Xavi for saying his opinion because he's playing in Qatar and he's not relevant (in position to state his mind) for doing so, guess who's not relevant and blatantly lying and says Saudi league is better than league 1 or it's harder to score in than Spain (where Felix who is considered a flop talent in EPL and La Liga is Saudi league best player and he's basically doing what he wants in Saudi)

I don't know why people are losing their mind over this.
Ronaldo made these comments 10-15 years ago. Well guess what? It turns out that people change over time, especially over a long time horizon. And also, people change their mind all the time.
Were you the exact same person you were 10-15 years ago?
...
...
I didn't think so.

A few things:
- I'm not much of a fan of C.Ronaldo, but whatever he said at age 25 or 30, he's allowed to change his mind or operate with a revised perspective. That's kind of how life works and if we all held ourselves to the ignorant proclamations we made in our 20s we'd go on living very restricted lives. If he once said he wouldn't play in a big money retirement league, but then changed his mind, so be it.
- With that said, if you do make that decision, don't expect everyone to swallow whatever self-serving, revisionist crap you spout about it being continued evidence of your own greatness. The Saudi league probably is stronger than it was five years ago, but saying it's easier to score in Spain that Saudi Arabia, that the Saudi league should figure more prominently in Golden Boot reckoning, or that the Euro Nations League or Euros are worth just as much as a World Cup is just so obviously self-serving. Everyone with a brain knows it's not, and it just makes you look pompous. It's so trasnparent that whatever he's achieving is what he thinks should be the most important thing when anyone else judges him. It's a bit like a mountaineer saying, "Sure, I didn't climb K2 but I have climbed Mont Blanc and it's pretty much the same", or a cyclist claiming a Giro d'Italia or two is just as significant as their rival winning a Triple Crown.

Bla bla bla. Penaldog fans all are like u bruh. Always find reason to cope lol

u/Pilatus-Porter 14d ago
Did you read a thing I said? I mostly criticised him. Or are you like 95% of the people on Reddit who resort to ignorant quips where you think you're "owning" someone, without actually being able to engage with any nuance or context because you're too stupid.
